After not getting much help at Lowe's, I went next door to this place, and got help immediately with good advice, and the delivery was timely, professional and went smoothly. No damage to our floors, or anything else. I did a little more than I would have, but I especially wanted a GE, since they moved back to the U.S. to do business. I support this.

Theresa at the Wasilla shop was excellent. She helped me find both a refrigerator and a propane stove at a reasonable cost, walked me through the options without any pressure, and then went above and beyond to arrange weekend delivery to fit our schedule. She was kind, patient, and genuinely cared about making sure everything worked for us. Customer service like this is rare these days, and Theresa nailed it. Highly recommend working with her.

Known for a long time as a much more expensive choice for quality kitchen related this or that, is now potentially after new ownership, probably my go-to for most kitchen-specific stuff. The old Allen and Peterson was about 30% to 40% more expensive than buying things online or from even other local stores, but now that they have changed they basically have the same prices or better than you could get online but with being able to support local awesome people. They are also owned by the same people who own habitat housewares and so if you are finding any difficulty trying to see what they have in stock, look at habitat housewares online and select their Wasilla location which is actually the Allen and Peterson store.
