I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with B & B Appliances was by far one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had.
To begin with, it took an entire week just to get scheduled for a washer repair. After finally getting an appointment, the technician showed up roughly three hours earlier than the scheduled time I was given. When I explained that I wasn’t expecting anyone that early, instead of trying to resolve the issue professionally, everything went downhill.
I ended up speaking with the supervisor, Joe Banner, and his behavior was completely unacceptable. Rather than listening to my concerns or trying to help, he became hostile, cursed at me, told me I should “fing stick to the schedule*” they had available, and then hung up on me while I was still talking. I’ve never been spoken to that way by someone in a customer service or management position.
The company appears to be extremely disorganized. Waiting a week for service, having appointments not honored as scheduled, and then being treated with disrespect by management reflects very poor leadership and an obvious lack of professionalism.
If this is how customers are treated when they simply expect the appointment time they were given to be honored, I can’t recommend this company to anyone. There are plenty of appliance repair businesses that value their customers and know how to communicate respectfully. Unfortunately, based on my experience, B & B Appliances is not one of them.
