WDC in Lomita is a perfect example of a company that’s great at selling you something—and completely disappears when there’s a problem. Once they have your money, don’t expect them to stand behind the product.
Their customer service is some of the worst I’ve experienced. You’ll get plenty of apologies, but that’s where it ends. No solutions, no accountability—just a lot of “there’s nothing we can do.” Even when issues are clearly legitimate, they refuse to take responsibility.
You may even hear from the owner with an apology, but nothing ever actually gets resolved. It’s all talk and zero follow-through. At that point, it just feels like they’re trying to quiet complaints rather than fix anything.
There’s a reason this place has so many bad reviews. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way.
I would never buy another product from WDC again. No price is worth the stress and frustration of dealing with a company that won’t stand behind what they sell.
