Moores' Mission Viejo Sewing

just recently came into Moore's for a zipper, I made sure to call ahead because it is a little bit of a drive. They said thedy had zippers by the yard, perfect that's what I was looking for, I walked in and was instantly greeted i greeted her back and then said " I came in for a zipper" the women who greeted me instantly shut down the conversation and said " NO' while shaking her head I asked her ' do you have any zippers at all ?? she said no I even said I was looking for a long zippers she said order it online. I found that super weird bc I had just spoke to someone that said they did. I told her that she still said no we don t have any. so then I walk out and call the number again to make sure I had the right location . I did, a ,man answered this timed I told him that I just walked in and then he put me on hold and then the lady who I had spoke to answered the phone, then she said yeah we have some but by the yard, I was sooooo confused as to why she would even say that they didn't have ANY TYPE of zipper in the store, I really needed the zipper or else I would not buy from them , the disrespect was loud I don t know what her issue was or if it was a racist act, this is absolutely unacceptable, she said she thought I was looking for dress zippers but why did she tell me she had absolutely NO ZIPPERS then, I've always heard from other customers that the service here is absolutely terrible and its crazy to have experienced that myself, I work at another local sewing machine place and we would never act like that

I have purchased sewing room furniture and an embroidery machine, not to mention various notions and fabric from Moore’s in Mission Viejo. The staff is friendly, welcoming and most important, very helpful! They are always willing to answer questions about quilting and embroidery techniques, they are not just about sales! I drive several hours to go to this store and it is worth it!

I cannot express enough the stellar the customer service I received at the Moore's Mission Viejo Store. I purchased a Baby Lock Allegro sewing machine and several accessories. I ran into a glitch with the functionality of one of the products, and they were quick to rectify the issue and to optimize my entire experience. Excellent customer service makes such a difference, and brings us back for future purchases. Many kudos to the owner, Mr. Moore, the manager, Lucina, to Faatiimah in customer service, and to Zach in the warehouse. All were courteous, professional, accommodating, and extremely helpful. I am in the process of utilizing the educational videos provided, and am very satisfied with my purchase. I will definitely continue doing business with Moore's!! Gina Horne
