Awful experience in every way possible.
We ordered a washer and dryer on Sept. 30th, and a dishwasher a few weeks later. I'm writing this review March 3rd, and still don't have 2 of the 3 appliances.
To start, MHA delivered a gas dryer instead of an electric one (which they said was in stock when ordered, but really wasn't), so they gave us an electric "loaner" while we (still) wait for the one we bought to come in.
On FOUR separate scheduled deliveries, MHA just hasn't shown up, and hasn't called to tell us. You know, the deliveries where you have to stay home from work to meet them during the "delivery window".
Next, dishwasher...they hired an installer they didn't vett first, and he installed the dishwasher wrong, causing a big leak when he "tested" the unit. Had to have ServPro cut out my basement ceiling to make sure it didn't mold, hire a plumber, hire an electrician, and have my brand new carpet professionally cleaned. Then, new drywall installed, textured and painted. Also, installer #1 didn't take out the side screws holding the old dishwasher into the cabinets. When he removed it, he just physically ripped it out, tearing up the sides of our cabinetry. He then epoxied a "dishwasher bracket" to the bottom of the granite countertop to hold it in (because he ripped apart the wood where the original dishwasher mounted), then didn't install the factory provided insulation that comes with the unit (you literally can't miss it, it's the size of a small blanket). That error caused the epoxy to melt and vaporize when we ran the "loaner" dishwasher that night, which made my whole house reek like rancid, fresh asphalt for 3 days. Made my whole family sick for a couple of days due to the chemical fumes in the air.
The next MHA installer, #2, came out (to install a loaner dishwasher because installer #1 broke the one we ordered) and removed the epoxied bracket, which he said we didn't need anyway. Then he told me installer #1 had done the same thing to a half dozen other customers BEFORE he came to my house. Apparently, every job installer #1 had been on had experienced leaks, and some sounded way worse than mine. So, MHA knew he was incompetent and still sent him out anyway.
Customer Service on the back end is terrible, even the lead Service Manager doesn't follow through. You will have to call them again and again and again to try and get things sorted out. Absolute bottom of the barrel communication across the company. Trust me, they do not care about you or following up to make sure things are right once they make the sale.
Attached is a pic of the mismatched "loaner" dryer "installed" onto a piece of cardboard that we are still using 5 months later. The proper mounting/stacking kit that we paid for has not been delivered either, which is a safety issue. I worry the dryer will wobble off onto my kid or wife when it's running, it's not attached to anything. We are still running the loaner dishwasher as well.
2nd pic is of the hole in our basement ceiling where the water came through the floor.
To recap, I'm 5 months out since paying in full for 3 appliances, I still only have 1 of them. Four no show, no call deliveries. Improper install leading to thousands of dollars in damage to my home. Countless hours wasted hiring and meeting people to fix that damage. My family got sick from chemical exposure. "Utter failure to communicate" by the company (Sales Manager's exact words, not mine). Worst-in-class customer service. Ongoing safety issues, which have been voiced, but not addressed with the company.
Why write such a long review you ask?
Public f***ing service, that's why.
Consider yourselves sufficiently warned. Avoid massive misery, go to Lowe's instead.
