I spent over 2.5 hours in this store on June 15 looking at appliances. I initially purchased a washing machine and planned to hold off on the refrigerator and range until I could go home and measure my space. After measuring, I texted the salesperson and gave him the go-ahead to add the refrigerator and range to the order as well.
The washing machine was scheduled for delivery on Thursday. Thursday came and went with no call, no delivery, and no communication. I called the salesperson to find out what was going on, but he didn’t answer. I ended up having to call the Beltsville location just to get some type of response. That’s when I was told the delivery crew was in Frederick and would not be making my delivery.
I was then promised delivery on Friday. Friday came, and once again there was no communication. I texted the salesperson, he read my message and never responded. I called, and my call went straight to voicemail. I then had to call the Baltimore location just to get an update. I was told the appliances would be there by 3:00 PM, then 3:30 PM. Nobody ever showed up.
I stayed home for two days waiting on appliances that never arrived, rearranged appointments, and wasted my time because this company failed to communicate with its customers. To make matters worse, the owner never returned calls either.
I also wasn’t simply refunded through their point-of-sale system. I had to go out of my way to deal with the refund process after everything that had already happened. There was no apology, no accommodation, and no compensation for the time, inconvenience, and gas spent dealing with a problem that was entirely caused by this company’s lack of communication and follow-through.
Delays happen. What is unacceptable is repeatedly giving customers delivery promises that aren’t kept, ignoring calls and texts, and making customers chase updates through other store locations. This entire experience was unprofessional, frustrating, and a complete waste of my time.
Avoid at all cost. There’s a much much better store near KidtoKid!!!
