They charged us a diagnostic fee along with an hourly rate to not only misdiagnose our AC issue but cause further cooling issues throughout the home. Their best guess was to order a part that “could cost us up to $2200.” After all the miscommunication and lack of follow up, and continued cooling issues now throughout the entire home, we hired out another vendor who identified and corrected the problem in under an hour saving us a ton of money . We have attempted to explain our issues with the lead AC service manger, Dale but he refuses to take our calls, but he has had no problem taking our money.

My family has been dealing with Sonny's since the early 1980's! We used to deal directly with Sonny himself. He sold me my LONG-LASTING Trane air conditioner just over 16 years ago! So, I am not upset about having to purchase a new AC system. I definitely got my money's worth out of the old one. It was pretty reliable through the years, good on my electric bill and was ONLY serviced by Sonny's. Of course, the downside was that this AC conked out DURING the hottest months of the year, in the Summer. AND it was at the start of the Memorial Day weekend. I called Sonny's answering service, and I got a tech callback right away. I told him I was 'cool' to wait until Tuesday, when the holiday/emergency rates were off. PLUS, I wouldn't be able to get parts until then anyway. Turns out, it just wasn't financially realistic to put money into this old unit, so I got together with them, and we settled on a new system at a very fair price. The crew came out the very next day, May 27th, to install my new air conditioning system. I was and still am VERY HAPPY with the entire process. The installers were professional, proficient and did an excellent job. My home is back to being the coolest house on the block! Thanks to the gang at Sonny's!

New install on 2 Carrier AC units. BOTH, yes BOTH of them went down within 2 years for the exact same reason, TXV Valve. Tech charged 200 bucks to diagnose the 1 ton unit 5 months ago. Came out and diagnosed it as a fan motor, charged 600 bucks labor which did not fix the issue, then came out again (trying to charge another 200 trip fee) and said we needed a new compressor to the tune of $2500. Called another company, they changed out the TXV valve and things were fine. UNTIL the 5 ton unit went down 2 weeks ago, FOR THE EXACT SAME PART. Carrier insists it's due to improper installation, which is likely considering the same part failed in both units. Nothing from Sonny's or Carrier. We had to eat it. $2600 in labor for TWO BRAND NEW AC Units within 2 years from install. Do not use this company.

Sonny's did an outstanding job with our project. They supplied and installed two 5-ton Carrier Heat Pumps on our roof and relocated another unit for us. The project was complicated due to the age of our building, dealing with code, and mounting them on racks. From start to finish, they took excellent care of us. I can't recommend them highly enough. The owner, Dale, was personally involved throughout the process. The team meticulously planned the job, and it was executed flawlessly. I knew what to expect, and they delivered. The equipment is working wonderfully. After the installation, I had a leak from one of my existing pipes, and they promptly came out to fix it, going above and beyond my expectations. The cost of the job was exactly within the range I anticipated. I completely understood why they recommended the units they did, and they ensured minimal disruption throughout the process. Great job, Sonny's!

Second purchase we made from this store and both times they had exactly what we needed and at a very fair Price. Dealt with Teresa and she was very helpful and definitely knows her products! We needed a very specific size and for our park model it must match and without hesitation she brought us to see one and YAHOO what the big stores couldn't do Sonny's was able to do - before making a big buy from the big box stores go see Teresa as this store is beautifully designed. We will definitely return and recommend! UPDATE 1 HOUR AFTER PURCHASE ..... WOW WOW WOW This is amazing, 1 hour after we purchased the refrigerator up pulls there delivery truck!!! Maybe we were lucky but it is Friday the 13 so we were REALLY LUCKY! As for the delivery, Joey was a "lone wolf" delivery man - so polite, kind, helpful and showed us everything we needed to know and he went above and beyond his work and gave us the most confidence we could ask for. Sonny's look after these employees as Joey and Teresa are valuable assets and represent your company very very well! So again we recommend Sonny's and yes we will visit them BEFORE we make a purchase at the big box companies!!! Thank You Doug and Diane
