I bought an Electrolux wine refrigerator and in less than two years it failed and I was told I would need a new compressor for $1200. Do not ever buy an Electrolux appliance. Unreliable. Certainly not worth the money I paid.

Terrible experience - do not buy Frigidaire appliances. My brand-new microwave started sparking and smoking in May 2025. Since then, I’ve had 4 in-home visits and made over 30 phone calls, and STILL don’t have a working replacement. *First inspector replaced a part, but the microwave failed again within 3 days. *Second visit, inspector confirmed it was unsafe and needed replacement, but said only Frigidaire could approve it. *Frigidaire’s own inspector came, tested the microwave and unplugged and told me “if you use it, it’s on your own risk”. *Replacement was finally approved on August 13, 2025. *Delivery has been a nightmare- missed appointments, random calls while I was at work, and on August 28, 2025 I stayed home all day for a delivery that never showed up. It’s been over 3 months of frustration, wasted time, and no microwave. The warranty process is disorganized, slow, and a complete joke. ⚠️If you value your time and peace of mind, do not buy Frigidaire appliances.

Frigidaire set up a warrantee appointment with this company and said they could come out the next day. I received a confirmation from the Electrolux company. Later in the day they called and said they couldn’t come on that day but could come two days later. I said ok and then tried to explain what my problem was. The lady cut me off and didn’t want to hear it. She was very rude on the phone. I will update this when hopefully I have a better experience with the technician when they come out.

On March 21, 2024, I received two promotional emails from Frigidaire offering extended warranties for my kitchen appliances—one for my microwave and a bundle deal for my dishwasher, oven, and refrigerator. On April 6, 2024, I decided to purchase the warranties but, to avoid potential phishing, I went directly to Frigidaire’s official website and manually entered the provided codes. The microwave warranty was priced at $96.29, which I purchased and received confirmation for. The bundle code showed a price of $158.41, which seemed low for three appliances, so I refreshed the page and reentered the code multiple times. The price remained the same, and after verifying there were no additional terms or conditions, I completed the purchase and received a confirmation email. I later contacted Electrolux customer care, where an agent confirmed that my warranties had been processed and that I would receive the contract within 60 days. However, after waiting the full period, I only received the contract for the microwave. When I called to inquire about the missing contract, I was told that I owed over $1,000 for the bundled appliances. I explained that I had already paid the amount shown at checkout, and the agent assured me a contract would be sent soon. I requested an email confirmation of this conversation but never received one. Over the following weeks, I began receiving notices claiming I had an outstanding balance. On June 10, 2024, I called Electrolux again and spoke with an agent named Jhamie Bernardino, who asked me to send copies of the promotional email and order confirmation. I sent them on June 15, 2024, but received no response. After multiple follow-ups with no reply, I called again on September 3, 2024, and spoke with a Supervisor named Mica. She confirmed that the codes were valid and said she would escalate the issue, promising to follow up via email the next day. I never heard back despite calling to follow up. On November 12, 2024, I called once more and spoke with an agent named Chris, who again stated I had a balance due. I asked to speak with a Supervisor and was connected to Verna. She requested that I resend the confirmation emails, which I did. When I asked for escalation, she claimed there was no higher team to handle the issue and suggested I send a letter to the Chicago office. She later followed up with me and admitted that the problem was caused by a pricing glitch in the system. However, Electrolux refused to honor the original price or offer any form of compensation. This situation is completely unacceptable. Electrolux made an error with the promotional code, yet I was left to repeatedly call and chase a resolution, only to be told there was nothing they could do. They admitted fault but refused to take responsibility, leaving me with no warranty for the bundled appliances and no compensation for their mistake. In addition, my microwave warranty was coded incorrectly, making it inactive, so I was charged $99 for my first repair attempt, only for the technician to refuse service. A new technician later confirmed my warranty was active after calling their boss on speaker. They then ordered the wrong parts twice, and when they finally got the correct ones, they were on backorder for months, leaving my microwave unrepaired.

I have a brand new 36 inch Electrolux dual range stove. It is a nightmare trying to get anyone to help me. Our brand new stove continues to burn my pots. The flames are too high and we are not able to adjust them. I have spent two weeks and a total of 20 telephone calls. All to no avail. $6000 for a piece of junk. Totally devastated and frustrated. No amount of phone calls no amount of text or emails. Avoid yourself the headache choose a different brand.
