Surburban Propane

DO NOT DO BUISNESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!!! Save your energy and work with a different company. They over charge for everything and when you cancel your account they charge apparently a $95 closing fee and other made up fees so they don’t have to refund you what they owe you. They charged me over $135 to fill up 1 pound of gas and then stated that I had all these cancellation fees which negated my refund of the full gas in the tank when they picked it up. These people are scammers and are absurd. Do not use them. Find another company.

The technician was very personable and catered to my senior adult parents by explaining what he was doing to the outside kitchen connection and then showing them his work before and afterwards. My parents appreciated his attention and thoroughness with the additional gas line and tank. They felt that he was genuine and honest with them. This put them at ease and calmed their reservations. My parents have been Suburban Propane customers for 10 years!

Local office never answers, called for propane on the 7th, roads cleared on the 11th, they started delivering to commercial accounts on the 12th, we still have no propane, it's been 9 days since i called and nobody has shown up, during the same time florida gas, amerigas, and blossmon propane have been in my neighborhood several times, was told by a supervisor that their commericial accounts are their priority, i would recommend anybody but them, im at the point where im offering random propane drivers on the street extra cash to sell me propane for my home, no power, taking care of elderly and storing insulin, national customer service is very nice but they dont do anything, suburban propane has the best infrastructure in south florida yet has had the worst residential response, they have two offices here and I'm equidistant from both, ill probably be able to start service with a new company before they come out Update: today is the 19th, we finally got a propane delivery 13 days later. They charged $4.74 per gallon!! That's a $1.20 more then the next highest, i should report them for post hurricane price gouging. Never again!!

Horrible customer service. Do not use them. Just a heads up about the company if you do not pay your bill on time they will send a technician to your home to cut off your gas. We have been a customer for over 10 years but they do not treat us with respect or any type of loyalty. They cut off your gas for such a small amount of money, I will find another propane company. I'm just waiting for this one to go out of business now. We had to wait for over three days until they put the gas back on. The only good thing I will say is that Tony their worker technician is the best one there.
