We purchased our first appliances from Allen Murphy when we first got married 26yrs ago. We just went back to replace them. Great customer service. They are Great for our older generation who may not have the strength to make appliance replacement. Allen Murphys will help with the install. Very capable!

I originally called Allen Murphey Appliance 12/1/2025 because they were highly recommended to me by Marc Long for repair of my ice maker and Microwave and they finally showed up 12/10/2025 and a $65 service call. The tech said he would have to order parts. I did not get a call back so I called again 12/17/2025 to find out what was happening and was told the parts came in and would be contacted.1/23/2026 finally the tech fixed the microwave and ice maker and charged me $600 and did not provide an invoice with labor or parts listed. After he left the ice maker was leaking so I called to find out what was going on and was told someone would contact me. 02/09/26 I called AM again to find out what was going on with the ice maker 2/26/26 and was told someone would be out to look at it. Two days later a tech showed up looked at the icemaker for no more than two minutes, said it needed a seal and left. 3/4/26 called AM again and they said they would send a tech out. 3/13/26 called again and they finally sent a tech who sealed the ice maker on 3/16/26. To say the least I will never use or recommend AM!! Till this day I have never receive a receipt, so I don't know if I was cheated or not. If you have plenty of time and money use AM. Very unprofessional and I never once received a call back, I had to call them every time and put up with endless excuses.

Very friendly and helpful while making a sale. Which they did with us several times. Wait until your under warranty product needs a repair. And by wait, I do mean wait. They have every excuse in the book (backordered parts, not enough drivers, not enough repairmen). Fool me once, sure. 3x, nope. Same experience for my mom. If anyone's looking for a job, call them. They need help. * this was my initial, factual and honest review. We love supporting local businesses. And most of the products they sell are great. Just not the people selling them. I'm making this edit because Terry (manager, owner, who cares?) read this review while we waited for ANOTHER repair. Instead of taking the initiative to contact me or reply to this, he had someone named Denise do it for him. His feelings got hurt by an honest review of lack of service. There are other similar reviews, by the way. So instead of rectifying the situation, he chose to refuse to complete the under warranty repairs. I was also told that they can't find any workers to pass background checks, so buyer beware on that too. Luckily, the wonderful team at our appliance manufacturer was able to contract a great local repair team who managed to return a phone call the same day AND complete the process the next business day! They were awesome! Last time we had a call into Allen Murphy it took about a half dozen calls and a month for results. Long story, but be aware that this bunch is nothing but excuse filled, understaffed, and slow.

Couldn’t recommend more! After horrible experiences with the big box stores, we ended up here. Last year we bought a speed queen washer. The experience was so seamless. We knew where to go when we needed a dishwasher. They have awesome inventory and deliver quickly. They committed to delivering on a specific day and upheld their commitment. They delivered and installed our dishwasher between 8-9pm. You won’t find the service anywhere else! We’ve tried them all.

As a local professional, I generally prefer supporting local businesses, but my experience with Allen Murphy’s was disappointing. I attempted to order refrigerator parts through them for a client’s home. Despite speaking directly with their technician and following up twice—once the day before closing and again on closing day, I was repeatedly told I would receive a call back. It has now been a week with zero communication. I ended up sourcing OEM parts online myself and will be handling the installation for my clients. People want to support local shops, but when follow-up is non-existent, customers are forced to take their business elsewhere.
