Ollie's Bargain Outlet

I love to stop in here and hunt for new great finds for super cheap! They have literally anything and everything but it goes fast. It’s easy to buy more than you anticipate because there’s so many good deals. Only downside is that one of the cashiers has a kinda negative attitude about pratically anything. It’s hard for me to carry stuff inside my house alone so i usually find an almost empty box to put my purchases in and I always put the remaining item with the same item before I grab it. I told the cashier she didn’t have to bag anything she could place it into the box to save her time and bags then she awkwardly said “you aren’t allowed to use our boxes I’m supposed to take it from you but I guess I’ll let you keep it”. Then when I gave her my Ollie’s # she said “well this is a man’s account and you’re not him so you should be using your own account”….so I said “yes the account is under my husbands name we both use it and he just passed away so I would like to still use it because he loved this place”.. I shouldn’t have even had to say that.. and then she just said “oh well I just figured it was common sense that you would use your account since he ain’t here”. I just stopped replying at that moment. Her negative attitude was so unnecessary and her last response was pretty rude and uncalled for. Other than unfortunately having to be rung up by her and dealing with her persistent negativity, I love Ollie’s.

Some items were good bargains. We found items cheaper than we found at other stores. My only real concern was the disorganization and items just tossed on shelves and in the floor. I'm not sure if they were trying to reset shelves and had customers distract them or if that's the usual in the store. Made it difficult to shop certain areas, like the clothing was the worst. The associates we engaged with were helpful and polite. Just have the vibe that there was a staffing shortage for the size or store. I'll definitely shop again.
