Worst experience ever! Do not waste your hard earned money here go somewhere else. From the very beginning, the fridge in our unit didn’t work. They replaced it, but the second fridge didn’t work properly either. We called multiple times asking someone to come check it. Every time they gave us a time they were going to show up, nobody came. Not once did they bother to call or let us know they weren’t coming, so we were stuck waiting around for nothing. Each time we called back, they apologized and said they would come the next day but again, nobody showed up. This place is extremely unprofessional and clearly doesn’t care about their customers. Very disappointing experience. If this is how they handle a simple issue like a broken fridge, I can’t imagine how they handle bigger problems.

NEVER buy appliances here. The worst businesses in my shopping experience. Appliances might work for a few day, it might look right for your money but they stop working very fast and once you call them with issues they don't follow through. Terrible staff and customer service. We are taught to support small businesses but unfortunately businesses as this put a terrible taste in supporting local shops.

Go here If you don't mind getting scam by getting the worst appliances you can imagine. Business as this should not be open. I bought a fridge that did not work, replace by a second that was worst and with promises that were never met of getting it fix. They are taking advantage of people's time and money. I'll be complaining to the City of Chicago Consumer Affairs Department and as many agencies as possible to get this business out of business.

Bought a double oven from them, delivered & installed in our home 3 months ago with no issues! They are very clear and open on their business & return policy (and it is very similar to other scratch & dent/used appliance stores I have been to). If you have an issue, they’ll pull from what they have on hand (likely not an identical model, and they don’t do cash returns). Great value and nice guys! I’ll clarify a few things reading other reviews: 1. English isn’t the native tongue of a lot of these guys, so coordinating over a phone call is going to be difficult. Written or stopping by in person is going to be your best bet. 2. This is a used/scratch & dent appliance shop. You aren’t paying for a brand new appliance showroom experience with full customer service & warranty from the manufacturer, so keep that in mind, and ALWAYS go and check the unit you’re interested in out in-person before buying sight-unseen.

We had a great experience with Edwin when purchasing a used fridge and arranging to have it placed on hold. However, when we called today to get an update on the delivery, another gentleman answered the phone, and the experience was quite different. When we provided our address and asked about the delivery status, there was a lot of background noise, and he abruptly cut me off, saying, “You need to speak louder.” I replied that I was trying. I also mentioned that no one had called to let us know if the delivery team was on their way. He responded, “They’ll be there in 20 minutes.” Again, no one called or let us know they were on their way. We then asked if someone would call upon arrival, since we hadn’t received any updates, and he replied, “Well, you have an update now.” The interaction came across as very unprofessional and unnecessarily rude, which was disappointing after such a positive experience with Edwin.
