Hugo R Appliances & HVAC repair

I get it used not new but 2 months I guess hugo takes the phrase (you get what you pay for) literally and yes he offered to send someone to look at it for $60 plus the repair and then when I went in to cancel the guy coming to look not fix look for $60 Cynthia said he wasn't going to send anyone anyway he always forgets. Well they been in business and will stay in business cause of cheap ppl like me I'm probably going to go to a other used place now idk shame on me I know. HUGO WANTED TO CHARGE $60 JUST TO SEND SOMEONE TO LOOK AT IT PLUS THE REPAIR $380 FRIDGE BECOMES A $500 PLUS FRIDGE IN 2 MONTHS.

Really hate that i have to leave ANY stars! Let me Start off by saying that any of their appliances are extremely overpriced. They repaint used appliances that they purchase or are donated from homes that are junk! I am a single mother that moved here in the Chicago area that does not know much about appliances because i have never had to buy an appliance. My homes have always come furnaced. Unfortunately, my apartment didn't have a refrigerator and i could not wait for them to supply one so i became desperate and came across this place. They had one for sale. The gentleman that was in the store had one in the store told me he would sell me this one for 200 because it was beat up but he would paint it but assured me it was fully functional. I told him i wasnt worried about the cosmetics as long as it worked! He told we it came with a 30 day warranty. i kid you not not even 30 days later it began giving me issues and i began complaining with no help! I started calling several times until it was past the 30 days. The owner came and tried to fix it stating it needed freeon and stated if that did not work he would swap out the unit. it worked for about a week. at this point we are past the 30 days. Go figure! I Called back. Now the owner does not speak english and says he will swap out my unit for a new unit but he doesnt have another unit for 200. the cheepest he has is 400. which means ill just have to spend 200 all over again for a used refrigerator! I will just chop up my losses and take this to small claims court. its a slap in the face when i see them all over facebook market place trying to get another single mother again. i will NOT let that happen. I know there will be a smart reply but i have all the receipts to back me up. That is foul as hell how that happened. I still to this day have the nasty refrigerator sitting up in my house that i can not move. i have wasted so much food! I have called so many times trying to resolve this peacefully and it is a shame that noone has tried to help me. I have tried for months and it is so sad that it has had to come to this!
