I have been in this store more this month then I ever did, I would definitely say my last two times being at this location was a horrible experience & I don’t care to continue coming back both times the lines were exceptionally long with one cashier, I was there Fri there was only one blk lady ringing she didn’t let the crowd make her nervous, once it was my turn to be serviced she was really nice. However went back sat evening the line was extremely long it was one cashier “Jessie” he called another person to help ring up customer i swear I can’t make this up they both took there next customers totaling 20 mins there was a issue with both lines had everyone waiting they both saw the lines getting longer & didn’t seem to care about getting us out, one cashier older bald white guy was being more helpful to whoever was calling on the phone. Jessie spent more then enough time explaining the loyalty program to the customer that was in his line even after cashing his customer the customer & him kept talking. He was not Courteous to me because I walked up after standing to long Jessie ask did I have a rewards num I said yes! I don’t care to use it because I have waited in the line to long & I just wanted to leave, I’m almost sure he was mad & that’s definitely why I took my time to write this review hoping upper management corrects this matter!

There are some really good deal, but be careful because some items are marked up higher than a normal department store. The store is often a mess and gives me anxiety so I go only once in a while. They do have vegan snacks that cost 3 to 4 times higher than grocery stores.

I had heard nothing but good things about Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, so I was excited to finally check one out. Unfortunately, my visit was a huge disappointment. The moment I walked in, I was struck by how filthy and neglected the store looked. It felt more like a rundown flea market than a retail store—dirty floors, disorganized shelves, and clutter everywhere. It was immediately obvious that no one cared about keeping the place presentable. The store was also freezing cold, noticeably colder inside than it was outside. As I glanced toward the front registers, I saw someone leaning over the counter on their phone. There was no uniform or name tag, so I couldn’t even tell if it was an employee or just a customer taking a break. As I continued through the store, things only got worse. The aisles were messy and unorganized. In the food section, I spotted multiple expired products right on the shelf. By that point, it barely surprised me. I passed an associate who completely ignored me, even though I was clearly looking for help. He was too busy listening to whatever was playing in his earbuds to acknowledge a customer. The clothing section was especially bad—clothes were scattered all over the floor, making the area look abandoned. That was the final straw for me. As I headed toward the exit, I overheard an older man (grey hair, balding) who appeared to be a manager loudly berating a female employee. He was hovering over her in a way that made me deeply uncomfortable. The whole interaction felt unprofessional and inappropriate. Between the disgusting store conditions, the leaking ceiling tiles, the freezing temperature, the indifferent staff, and the disturbing behavior from what seemed to be management, I left completely shocked. I will never step foot in an Ollie’s Bargain Outlet again.

This is my fourth Ollie's. It is in my rotation for household items. We did a big purchase today of an air frier / toaster oven but also picked up pretzels, chips, and pantry items like salad dressing and microwavable rice. I see back-to-school as a big business for them. We were hoping to find an air-conditioner but we need a wall-mount unit. The staff have been friendly and helpful at all locations. Last month I finally signed up for their loyalty club and got the 15% off of my purchase today; it was over $20 off of items that are already cheaper then elsewhere!

The cashiers were all very new and very much learning because they just opened, but I freaking love this store! You never know what you might score because they have a little bit of everything and they get different things in all the time. I especially love their book section. So glad we finally have Ollie's in Omaha. I got a fishing pole and popping frog lure, a camping chair with shade canopy, games for the kids, chindi rugs, big cheap bag of birdseed, pillows... so much stuff. If you see something buy it while they got it because it might be gone by the next time you go!
