Big Jon's Used Appliances

Bought a washer & before there so called 90 day warranty expired it started making a very loud rattling noise as well as a loud sound I cant describe. I took it back for a refund & they offered me $10 when I paid $300. I told them I can get more selling it for scrap, which I did. Dishonest people. You would be better off buying one from marketplace.

Troy is the owner of Big Jons. He and a helper came to our house to stack our washer and dryer. THEY DID A WONDERFUL JOB. Troy was everything you would hope: capable, respectful, neat and very concerned about doing a fine job. I would expect that the appliances he sells will be in great shape just by his attitude in getting our job done.

I went to Big John’s and was not satisfied with what I saw. The washers were overpriced and too small for the price they are charging. You would be better off going to Best Buy to get a new one. They don’t fix appliances unless you sell them to them, and they don’t provide in-home service for appliances either. My husband called to ask some questions, and the man who answered was rude. The only good thing I got out of the visit was a five-dollar picture.

Do not buy from them! We used the Plainfield location which is now closed, but im assuming this is how they do business all round. Their appliances last just long enough to excceed warranty. Stove went out 1 month after purchase. Refrigerator and stove both came infested with roaches. We spray every night and now we are paying an exterminator big money to take care of our whole house infested. Also their prices are too high foe older used appliances, but people with limited income have no choice but to purchase from places like this. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!
