We’ve gotten 3 appliances at Chenoweth; exceptional service every single time. Their sales staff are helpful without being pushy, and all installations were scheduled quickly and completed with no issues. Prices are much better than large chain commercial stores. Highly recommend!

We have bought a new house in Kentucky, and need ed all new appliances for our kitchen, we chose everything from a cooktop to a dishwasher, an expensive purchase. Yet, we were kept waiting when we went in to finalize our purchase, we were told that the installer would be there Tuesday, remember, we had an order ready to go for several weeks, Tuesday arrives, we are literally camping out in our house, we are not a young couple, we receive a call, the installer says that he can't get through due to utility trucks on Hwy 42, strange but my sister and niece got through and they live in another State! He then tells my husband that he will get back to us next week! No specific date, just whenever suits him! We immediately went to Bonnycastle, had a greeting the minute we walked through the door, the gentleman were helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. We were able to find everything that we needed with a couple of upgrades! They will all be installed this coming Tuesday! I am sad to say that Chenowith did not seem to care whether they had our business or not. It is disappointing as a newcomer to realize we weren't worth an installers time. I cannot recommend Chenoweths. carolintallahassee

Wowzer! I love my new kitchen. The appliances make it! Mary Kay was so easy to work with. She went out of her way to make sure I ordered exactly what I needed for my space. She even helped the cabinet guys find the correct base cabinet model number for the Monogram Gas Stove top. And the delivery guys were great too. They did put 2 divit/ scratches on our new threshold with their dolly, but they did a great job hooking up the refrigerator and bringing in the appliances.

PSA regarding Chenoweth Appliances and installation. We bought new appliances from Chenoweth Appliances in July 2024. When the “installation experts” were connecting my refrigerator water line to the wall fitting, they failed to use Teflon tape (highly encouraged but not mandatory). They also managed to cross-thread the fitting. This led to a slow leak over the past 7 months that ruined my drywall, baseboard, hardwood flooring and leaked into the basement. I urge anyone that has trusted Chenoweth Appliances to install any appliance that utilizes water to inspect the work to make sure this hasn’t happened to you. Luckily I am very handy and was able to make all of the repairs myself; if I would have paid a company to fix them, it would have been $3,000 minimum. When I brought this to the attention of Dan at Chenoweth Appliances, he offered no support or apology. He did however inform me that they now have a policy that requires the homeowner to sign off anytime a water line is connected stating that the installation is correct. It would almost seem that they had multiple issues with water leaks. It truly is a shame that we went out of our way to purchase from a local business, only to have this unfortunate experience. I sincerely hope this post will prevent this from happening to someone else.
