Dixon's Tv & Appliance Ctr

Purchased a dishwasher Tuesday and was very up front that I wanted it brand new in the box. The lady said I could pick it up Thursday. I paid and left. I called today to make sure it was there before I loaded my baby in the car and made the drive. She said, “oh, it’s here, but it’s the display model but we did put a box on top of it”. I said “when was I going to be notified that it wasn’t new in the box and it was a floor model?” SHE LITERALLY SAID WORD FOR WORD “when you came to pick it up”. ??????? I will never do business here or recommend it to anyone. I’m still in shock that a small local business does business this way. It’s very unfortunate.

My father ordered the best flatscreen, satellite, and surround system along with installation from Dixon's. I later came in town to visit my folks since my father had lost his sight anout 2 years back and I hadnt visited in nearly a decade due to my company being in extreme demand in the satellite and audio video business myself. I was the only 24/7 emergency repair svc anywhere in texas for storm damage for television stations and studios, radio stations or cable companys. When got here father asked me to check the installation of this equipment because all the local channels had gone away and the satellite signal was very poor when the wind or rain was acting up. I foundthe dish was loose and had caused roof leaks due to holes drilled into the shingles instead of in the soffit or fascia and the antenna lead was cut where it was mounted in the attic and completely gone pirated to feed the satellite instead. The dish was loose and flopped around in the wind. Jeff Dixon's men took advantage of my blind war vet father even tho he charged him nearly 15000 dollars for the even tho I sold the same system retail for 4000$ less. Mr. Dixon's only reply was my wife is a lawyer. That was a little time back but that is who Jeff dixon is. I have worked in . I had to take all their work down and redo it right. Reeks of skeezy business practices to me to say nothing of abusive to a blind korean war vet both marines and airforce. This is who you are choosing to enter a business deal with.

My washer broke on Tuesday...went to Dixon's couple hours later. They had a nice selection for a small town...we found what we needed and luckily they had an opening same afternoon to deliver it. It couldn't have gone any smoother... delivery men called ahead of delivery, arrived fast, took out the old washer...installed my new one and I did a load of laundry right away. From the sales lady to the installers... excellent employees! Thank you!!!

Nice appliances but no COVID SAFETY. Employee working alongside my husband tested positive. They made him reschedule his COVID test because they want him to unload the truck.ARE YOU SERIOUS!! The women running this store in morganfield are rediculous. They don't trust them or care about there employees safety. There are other stores to buy from so until it's safer I would go SOMEWHERE ELSE!!
