Recommended for an over-the-oven microwave install and haul away by Dunnett's. Gary himself came to do everything the same day we spoke on the phone. He did an excellent job, the lady I spoke with on the phone was very nice and professional, the cost of everything was reasonable - overall we had a great first experience!

I can't speak highly enough of the crew they sent. It was a difficult removal and it was handled great, as well as the delivery of our new unit. 10/10 would recommend.

Absolute criminals, do not do business with these people. It's honestly unfortunate that I have to write this review, as I've been doing business with them for years, and I've always tipped them after every job to say thank you for the good work, but they've completely done me wrong here and are no longer willing to fix it. One of their younger mechanics was hired to fix a washing machine about ten months ago, and their tech destroyed our washing machine with his repair, and I have an extensive analysis from a different tech stating as much. They claim that this is ultimately our fault, and they also claim that a different type of repair was apparently offered and that I did not accept it. The former is patently absurd to even use as a point, as I don't know anything about appliances whatsoever, so as far as I care, I just hire a tech to fix things, they fix it, correct? Apparently not, as they will not guarantee the work of their employees, regardless of how many people corroborate that the employee destroyed the machine. They also claim that the work is only warrantied for six months, so if their techs destroy your machine, but this doesn't manifest until after six months later, you're absolutely screwed. By the way, they don't tell you that anywhere before performing the work. It should also be mentioned that the woman running their office is absolutely incredibly rude, and doesn't have any idea how to run an ethical business. In short, they have damaged my appliance when they were hired to repair it. They accused me of lying when they blatantly and boldly lied to me. They told me they would support me and fix the machine that their employee destroyed, and then a week later walked it back, I assume when they saw how much the parts for the machine that THEY DESTROYED would cost, so they've gone back on their word as well. I'm fortunate to have a lawyer as a good friend, but many are not, and litigation is a tiring process, both emotionally and financially draining. I advise you to steer clear of these charlatans unless you're ready to defend yourself should they screw you like they did me. Utterly disappointed in this disgusting state of affairs. You've been warned, do not trust these people! I'll include photos of their awful repair by their employee, which again, I had independently analyzed by another technician and he stated that it was one hundred percent due to the last repair attempt. Joke of a company.

Gary and General Appliance are so incredibly helpful and responsive. In times when repairs costs are so high that replacement is often the best option - these guys/ladies make it possible to fix the old and make it like new again - at a fraction of the cost of replacement.
