Find someone else...anyone else. This guy is a hack and a conman. If a guy named Peter comes to do work for you, turn him away. Our washer was not emptying and we called Bright Appliance. Peter came out and diagnosed the problem as a clogged water pump, Which he cleared. This would have been fine to be charged for this and call it a day. But he insisted it needed a new hose and a new pump. And while he waits for the ordered parts to come, he tells me: "DO NOT RUN THE WASHER!" Why? Because it was fine and didn't need the parts and especially the extra labor. He didn't want me to know this so i would pay him to do more work on it. I ran it after he left and everything was fine. Many loads of laundry and everything was fine. I called him and told him the pump was fine and a new one wasn't needed. If he wanted to replace the hose, we would do only that. So he calls me a day or two before Thanksgiving to put in the hose and we were away. I didn't get his message. He doesn't call back for a month and acts all angry that I didn't call him back. That I was trying to not pay him. Sorry, I was away with family for the holidays and you never followed up. Why not try a follow up call next time instead of sitting around and then berating me for not calling YOU. We settle on a day for him to come and put the hose in. While trying to put in the hose, he smashed my washer against my wall scraping the top of the washer and my wall. Then he demands only cash or check. Step into the 21st century! There are so many apps that handle cards and virtual payment. I had to go to an atm to pay him which he was upset about having to wait around for. Hey, its your policy. Why not get with this century and try at least Venmo or Apple Pay? On top of that, he left the hose half off (on purpose, maybe, probably). Our first load flooded our laundry room. When I called him... no response. What a surprise. I had to get underneath and attach the hose properly and do this guys work for him. Don't call this guy. He's a hack and a liar.

RIP-OFF!! Please READ THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS of this business! I assume the positive ones are friends and family. Here is mine. Been quoted us $160.00 to "diagnose" our fridge ice maker. An older gentleman confirmed replacement: he offered to order one for us ($250.00) and install it. Also said that we should replace the door gasket (optional). He quoted us $280.00 for labor (I'm not sure if he factored in the gasket replacement, as the quote was very vague), for a total of $440.00 to replace the icemaker. We decided that we'd rather buy a new fridge. But first we looked up the icemaker online and found it on the manufacturer's website for $180.00. It took my husband 10 minutes to replace it. Total: $180.00

We had an exteremly tricky problem with an older gas range. I had a terrible time just finding anyone who would even attempt to fix it. I called Peter and he had the parts and was here fixing it within days. It was effectively open heart appliance surgery. Finding someone who has the skills he has is almost impossible these days. No objections for paying for that level of experience, skill and problem solving ability. Extermely nice and friendly guy to boot!

I was given Peter’s name by my former appliance repair person and he came today, spent 5-15 minutes at my house to tell me I needed a new washing machine. The fee was $160. I understand the need for customers to pay a service fee but my machine was not serviced and I thought charging that rate was unfair. I will be looking elsewhere in the future for a different appliance repair person.

We have used Peter from Bright Appliance a number of times. What I really appreciate about him is his genuine authenticity and absolute knowledge of his work and business. He often already knows what a solution to my issue is just by me giving him information over the phone. A few times he saved me the time and expense of having a repair person come out by troubleshooting over the phone. When we have needed a repair, he takes the time to make sure that all is well again with our appliance. I believe his rates are fair. He is and will continue to be my go to person for appliance repair. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
