New whirlpool washer issues with water fill. Company set up a repair visit with this place. They give an 8 HOUR window. I called the day of @ 10:45 am to try to get maybe closer to a 4 hour window. They don't answer the phone, left a message and never heard back. No one showed up and no one called! I will be calling whirlpool to get another contracted service provider and RECOMMEND they no longer use LAR (mainly negative reviews from what I've read)

We had recently purchased a fridge from Costco and within a week had a mishap with a broken piece for the ice machine. Costco had referred and sent out Mike from LAR service. He had called and requested any information and pictures to help speed up the process for both ends. After I had sent the needed information Mike contacted me and decided to have a whole new ice bin sent out and we received it the next day. Mike was quick to the point and didn't waste my time. He had made sure the fridge was back to working order and mentioned not hesitating to call back if needed. Very professional throughout the experience Would absolutely recommend the service and would personally use again if needed Thanks Mike !!!

LAR service is so bad that I wonder how they stay in business. I submitted a warranty claim for my dishwasher with Lowe’s in early November. LAR was assigned to service it and a technician came out about a week later. He told me that I needed a new washer arm, which I new, and also a new front panel, both of which they’d order. As Thanksgiving approached, I checked on the status of the washer arm and they said there was no way to know when it would come in. So I ordered it on Amazon, received it two days later, and installed it myself. The technician finally came back mid-December. He didn’t even realize that I’d already replaced the washer arm and forgot the front panel. In January I contacted them to get a status and they had no idea who I was or that they we supposed to come back. It seems that they don’t have a system for tracking service calls other than paper receipts. They eventually found mine and scheduled to come later in January. They never showed up nor did they return my call. Really terrible service. So I submitted my claim again to Lowe’s who assigned it to Sears. The Sears tech came out, ordered the part while he was with me and scheduled a date for install. That’s how it should have been with LAR.

Would not recommend LARS Service Center. This company was assigned by the GE Monogram customer service dept to provide an under warranty repair. It was a simple fix to replace a light inside the dishwasher. This involved unscrewing two screws to move dishwasher out of the cabinet, literally taking 5 minutes. The LARS service rep who is also the owner indicated the screws were stripped and recommended the installer remove the dishwasher. He left the part for me to complete the repair myself. I called GE customer service to report the screws to be removed were determined to not be stripped. The screws are star headed only requiring the proper screw bit. GE customer service assigned another repair company, Eralux Appliance Repair Home Services. Their service rep came and promptly completed the repair in minutes. It is in your best interests to avoid using LARS Service Center!

Under the protection plan for my stove I set up the appointment which was a first 5 minutes being told (Mike) need an entire burner assembly kit.. (what do I know)Parts came in of which Mike the owner came back with a trainee allowing him to do the work while he supervised him while talking on the phone about an unrelated topic. They replaced what they had and burner still didn’t work he told me it’s busted I need a new stove put in another claim and they won’t want to pay for all the parts that need to be ordered and I’ll get a voucher for a new stove. I don’t need a new stove and as they were driving away my stove range was not correctly put back on I called them and they said you’ll get a new stove (that’s not a guarantee) they did not come back to fix it. no return calls, he wouldn’t come back to fix the range put back on correctly he said it’s all messed up underneath. The women at the office didn’t want to hear it. No care for customer service. I had to place another claim and this time I had Mr Appliance come in and the tech turned the burner over and said oh just might be clogged and yes that’s all it was. My burner is working and he then helped me get my range back on correctly because it wasn’t broken before Lars got there it was on straight. Mike and his trainee couldn’t get it back on straight because they didn’t line it up correctly and gave up and said it was just messed up which was false. These people should not be in business. Pictures of how my stove was left.
