Joe & Son Appliance

Bought 3 expensive appliances from them, Fridge Dishwasher and oven. Fridge and dishwasher were defective from the start. Was told they couldn’t service the fridge I was on my own for that but they couldn’t service fix the oven. After many months and phone calls with no response I finally demanded they fix it or take it back or I’d sue them. About two weeks after that never hearing from them the angry owner Joe showed up at my house with no appointment no call nothing. It was in the late afternoon and both my gf and I were deathly ill. When I asked who he was he pretty much yelled at me that I’d called too many times and he’d been busy. I told him now isn’t a good time and it’s unprofessional to just show up unannounced after months of trying to get an appointmenr, he proceeded to tell that he’s here now so if I want it fixed this is my opportunity. I asked him to leave and come another time with an appointment. He did make an appointment came back looked at the oven said it was fine and nothing wrong even though it makes ungodly noises. It was never fixed by them. 3 appliances brand new only one worked and the other 2 were never fixed by Joe and Sons I had to pay a real repair person to fix both out of my own pocket. Buyer beware!!!

We needed a new washing machine within a week for my Truro home because we had renters coming. Joe & Sons were the only ones that could help us out in this difficult time when appliances are almost impossible to come by. We purchased a maytag high efficiency washer and we couldn’t be happier. Michael, Joe’s son, was very helpful on the phone helping to determine what we could get in the short time we had available. Unlike the large chains, Joe doesn’t charge for delivery. That alone saves you about $70. The installation team was terrific. They suggested moving the washer and dryer so that the door configurations worked out which was a vast improvement. So far everything has worked perfectly. If you’re on the cape, these are the guys to depend on. Their prices are better when you consider the charges everyone else adds on, and their service is far superior.

I have been working with Joe and Son appliance for over 13 years. I've bought major appliances for my business and home and will only purchase from them. This is a solid family run business and while their showroom may not be picture perfect, I have found their service and responsiveness to be terrific. I've also always found their prices to be competitive. Why deal with anonymous big box retailers when there is a high quality local business to patronize? I have just finished buying a complete kitchen from them and remain as satisfied as ever.

Joe & Son are great to work with. When purchasing appliances they spend the time to help you find the best items within your budget. They are patient and genuinely interested in your project; whether you are replacing appliances or renovating an entire kitchen. I have also had great experience when replacing and purchasing my washer/dryer. When I need repair work they are prompt. They arrive the same day unless the repair is not an emergency or urgent.
