My wife and I just purchased a Maytag washing machine from Abington Appliance. We learned more about washing machines and the proper way to do laundry in our conversation with Dave than our 140+ years on earth combined. Dave is not (I repeat not) a salesguy-he's an educator. We made the purchase late morning and Dave and his helper delivered the new machine that evening. They removed the old washer, cleaned the area, (wow) and installed the new washer seamlessly. Dave then went over all the features and operation of the machine to ensure we understood how to use it and the benefit of each function. Forget the big box stores-Abington Appliance is the best and their pricing is excellent for the value of their outstanding customer service.

I’ve purchased multiple appliances from Dave with the most recent being a stove. Every experience, I walk out extremely happy despite making a large purchase. It’s because I know Dave is taking care of me. If he doesn’t have something in store, he’ll do research and help me find the right one. I’ve never felt rushed. I also appreciate his honesty if he thinks something is not the right fit. When I bought my dishwasher and microwave, he connected me with Herb who did the install. Herb is great! We had a snag with my dishwasher and he went above and beyond. I was so impressed, I hired him to install and replace my water heater! When I bought my stove Dave came to deliver and install the new one and remove my old one. He walked me through all of the controls, tested the stove and was very careful about getting the stoves in and out of my side door. He also came with dog treats for my dogs! This is why I won’t entertain any other store because this level of service is unbeatable!

Customer Service at the Highest Level! We recently had to replace our washing machine. My Brother suggested we go to Abington Appliance and speak with the owner, Dave. Abington Appliance is as the name implies; an appliance store, they don’t sell plywood or grass seed, they sell appliances and Dave knows his stuff!! After speaking with Dave we decided on a Speed Queen washer because it’s a commercial machine made in the USA with a generous warranty. On delivery day, guess who was driving the truck? Dave!! Installation was also done by him! I was shocked when he pulled out a level to set the machine in place, making tiny adjustments so that it was perfect! Who levels a washing machine?? It’s such a pleasure to do business with a local company who is truly interested in your satisfaction! If you need Plywood, go to Orange or Blue, but if you need appliances, I highly recommend you to head to Abington Appliance and speak with the owner!!

Dave is the owner and very knowledgeable and helpful about products in his store. He was quickly able to find out what dishwasher would work for me. Then he pointed out the differences in the final few models and I was able to make an informed decision. This is the difference when you shop at a family run store. Dave took the time to be helpful. I’m done shopping at big box corporation stores.

Dave from Abington Appliance was great to work with. We just bought a new refrigerator fingerless print . Our experience at Lowes for our washer and dryer few years ago was horrible experience. I was referred from my sister in law who has purchased all of her appliances from him. Incredible businessman and caring individual. Thank you Dave. Working on husband for new stove soon.
