Stay far away from this place. In my experience, they were dishonest and misleading from the start. They act friendly until they get your personal information, then their attitude completely changes. I was given false information about warranties and installment plans, and when I questioned it, I was met with rude and disrespectful treatment. Even the shipping staff were unprofessional and dismissive. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. I would not recommend this business to anyone.

I had a terrible experience with City Outlet and would never recommend this place to anyone. At first, they were extremely nice and helpful just to convince us to buy a washer. The moment they got our personal information and completed the sale, their entire attitude changed. They became disrespectful, rude, and dishonest. They make you believe certain things are included, like free shipping and installment payments, but after everything is finalized, they suddenly change the story. First they told us they offer installment, then later said they don’t and told us to contact the financing company ourselves. On top of that, we were given completely different information by different people. One person said monthly payments, then suddenly they tried forcing weekly payments with almost $2,000 extra in interest. That is absolutely insane. They also increase prices with hidden fees that make no sense. The final amount was way higher than expected, including charges that were more than the actual tax and shipping should have been. It honestly felt like we were being manipulated the entire time. Another thing that really bothered me was how little the staff actually listened. I asked one of the workers if LG washers shake badly like Samsung washers sometimes do, and instead of actually listening to my question, he just responded “yeah they do, it’s as good as Samsung .” It made no sense because I was literally asking if that was a bad thing, and he clearly was not paying attention to what I was saying. It honestly felt like he had no idea what he was talking about and was just saying random things to make a sale. To make things even worse, when the delivery company brought the washer and dryer, the products already had scratches on them. After spending that much money, I expected items in good condition, not damaged appliances. It just showed even more carelessness and lack of professionalism. I regret buying from them because later I realized I could have gotten a much better deal from places like Home Depot or Best Buy without all the lies, confusion, and pressure tactics. The customer service was awful, especially the lady working there who was rude and unprofessional and did not know how to properly speak to customers. This business is dishonest and misleading. Be very careful before giving them your information or signing anything. Read everything carefully because they will tell you one thing at first and then completely change it later. I recommend going to mo’s appliance's on Warren. I should have done my own research. They have better quality washers and dryers and the prices are top tier. Do NOT GO TO CITY OUTLET!

Charged me for removal of my old washing machine, then left it in my garage claiming they didn't have room on their truck....after they just dropped another unit off to me. Called back to get it straightened out and they tried to tell me that's what I was told in store. Lazy delivery driver, dishonest salesman. Should have went to Bill and rods in Livonia.

I've been buying appliances from them for years. So far in different homes we have purchased: 2 French door fridges, a top load washer and front load dryer, and a stacking washer and dryer. We have never had any issues with the appliances, but they have always treated me so well that I feel they'd stand by their products. I'm surprised to see so many negative reviews. I love this place and the amazing deals I could not otherwise access!

Such a DISSATISFYING experience here. They wanted to send me a BROKEN display table for $300 when Ashley Furniture had it priced at $179. I told them I’d pay them the $300 if they got the screws to fix it so it could at least be functional, the gentleman there said he couldn’t do anything. I am so heartbroken and disappointed that this is how customers are treated!! BUYER BEWARE!!
