I called and the owner of Northern Appliance Repair and Randy listened to my problem with my 7 year old Whirlpool side by side refrigerator. The freezer coils were not defrosting as they should so after a manual defrost (heat gun) everything would work as it should for 2-3 weeks and then the coils would ice up again. I did further checks and found a bad defrost element thermostat. I really appreciate the advice Randy gave me to help diagnose the problem and get the correct part ordered. I would not hesitate to use Northern for any large appliance issue.

Randy promptly returned my phone call. Over the phone, I briefly explained the problem and he knew precisely which part(s) were necessary for the repair. Randy was quick to politely answer the phone and offer his services when convenient for myself to get a dryer looked at. Through timely and professional communication, we were able to get the parts we needed very quickly. He stocks many of parts locally at his shop location. Otherwise he is happy to quickly order them for you. We were even able to pick them up after business hours! Fair pricing as well. Highly recommend!

Randy was also kindly willing to be accommodating with his schedule when a hitch arose during the first appointment for installation of a client's washer & dryer in their new construction home.
