I was pursuing a very specific range hood for a kitchen renovation, and when a similar one at Tree House / Shady Oak popped up - I called immediately! The hood they had was a recirculating, single-speed model - they were gracious enough to sell me the base alone (to allow me to use it in a vented application) and to rewire the switch to multi-speed. When we went in to pick it up, they showed me the "dent" - almost invisible to the naked eye - and wrapped the whole thing up for safe transport. Without Shady Oak, I doubt I could have afforded this part of our kitchen renovation. It may seem like a minor part of a kitchen, but for me/us - working in an unvented kitchen, gas range kitchen for years - this has been a life saver and the most significant element of our mild kitchen renovation. If you are looking for high-end home kitchen appliances or just searching through the scratch-and-dent section to stretch your budget (like me) - the people at Shady Oak were kind, patient and genuinely nice during our entire process. We got in the car and I genuinely looked on their company page to see if I could make the move from working in tech to high-end residential appliances - it was just a wonderful space to step into.

Could not be happier with the performance of the Vent a Hood liner in our kitchen remodel. Its amazing, in fact so amazing that the first time I used it browning meat with onions, I thought I had covid, since I could hardly smell a thing! Sheridan was great to work with, as we had some questions along the way, service was top notch, and delivery was fast. Thank you Highly recommend.

Sheridan Cler, their repair representative is one if the most professional service agents that I have ever worked with. He had to re-schedule his repairs on a Monday after a Thursday initial service call. He special ordered the replacement part and was back at my Vent-a-Hood by 12:15, the following Monday. He explained everything that he was doing; trained me about ALL of the maintenance requirements; and explained why I was so wise to purchase this Vent-a-Hood tilt-away exhaust fan. I can not give a higher rating, he was THE BEST!
