I am amazed M&H Appliance would not take responsibility for damage caused to our furnace boiler during the installation of a new dishwasher. After the installation, we discovered extensive damage as a lever (clearly marked "boiler") adjacent to the water valves under the sink had been turned 180°, causing pressure to build and the boiler to malfunction. Replacement parts are no longer available, so a complete new boiler is needed. The service manager at M&H referred us to the insurance company whose agent determined M&H has no liability for the damage and no explanation how this lever was turned because the installers said "they didn't do it." After a wonderful 8 year relationship (and multiple appliances for 2 homes), I am surprised and thoroughly disappointed there is no effort to take whole or even partial responsibility for this damage. There is no other possible way this could have happened. We will no longer be returning customers.
