Just left McGinnis. Looking for a countertop microwave. New sales person was grumpy before I even said a word. Acted like I was putting her out just coming in and making her get up to help me. I had talked to her on the phone yesterday and indicated I was looking for a countertop microwave and asked about free delivery, since I can get that through GE online. She hinted that might be possible if I come in and talk to them, but then said ‘no’ after I took the time to go to the store. I felt duped. Update: I went back to the store the next day and talked to Jess, whom I’ve worked with several times before. He was very courteous and professional, and helped me in my purchase of a new microwave. I chose a larger one than I had planned to buy, and I was happy with the offer of discounted delivery. He also set up a delivery day outside of their normal delivery schedule, since it was just a small appliance. Jess’s demeanor, tone and body language reflect his desire to serve the customer. “Attitude is a little thing that can make a big difference.” In this case the difference was a successful sale and four additional stars.

I LOVE my new fridge!!! Lana was great helping me get exactly what I wanted. The guys that delivered it were so nice. They moved my old fridge out of the house, they switched the handle on the new fridge, made sure everything was level and running perfect, and made sure I knew how to use it and that I didn’t have any questions. Very nice, very professional, and I’m not kidding I LOVE my new fridge!!! Plus I appreciated that there were no hidden costs and no oh we can’t do that. When I purchased the new fridge we went over the delivery, if anything needed to be moved, cost of recycling, everything so there was no surprises and it was all laid out. When I decide it’s time to get the matching freezer, I will definitely go back to McGinnis!
