Madrick Furniture is the place to go if you’re looking for a recliner! The owner, Doug, and his wife truly treat you like a valued customer. They know their products inside and out and never hesitate to answer any questions. Their pricing was the best out of the three retail stores we checked in Joplin. The best part is the recliners are locally made right here in the USA. Great service, great pricing, and great quality. I highly recommend Madrick Furniture! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The friendliness and most honest furniture and appliance store in Joplin. They were up front about availability and gave us a realistic time frame knowing it might mean we shop elsewhere. Then came through sooner than expected. Walking in the door feels like shopping in the 90s, a smile on their face and no pushy sales. Great people, couldn't recommend shopping here more. A pleasure to shop local.

My parents bought a stand up recliner about 6 months ago. Customer Service at the time of purchase was great. They took time with my father, fitting him into the right chair for him. However when Mardick came to our rescue when the heat connector broke months later - that moved the Mardick Customer Service to absolutely outstanding! A huge shout out to Doug. Thank you for being so helpful and responsive.

We bought a new speed queen washer and dryer set here at Mardick Furniture & Appliance after relocating to Joplin. Speed Queen as a brand is only sold in authorized dealers and not in big box stores so the only options in Joplin are here and Metro. At first glance the other store would have the lower price but after their add ons Mardick is clearly the more cost effective choice. While the other guy charges for delivery, charges for the appliance connections / hookups, and charges for installation Mardick gives you all that for free. Included in their price is delivery, install, and connections. No other store in town can beat that. As far as our sales experience it was pleasant. There was no pressure and Jim, our salesman was professional and knowledgeable. But where Mardick really shines is delivery. Doug and his teammate delivered our washer and dryer, and installed it perfectly. Unfortunately there was an issue with one of the washer hoses about an hour after install. It would drip as the hose wasn’t sealing to the connector. I called the store and within 5 minutes Doug called me back from his next delivery and said he’d be back to our house asap. Within an hour they were back in our home, replaced the leaky hose, cleaned up, and ran a test cycle to ensure it was just a bad hose. I always try to support local businesses and I feel like I definitely made the right choice choosing Mardick. Their customer service and care for the customer is unmatched. If you are in the market for appliances then Mardick should definitely your one and only stop.
