Thirty-five years ago I began doing business with Michael Ortega when he was a delivery driver for the family business in Albuquerque. He was exceptional in every way, and cared deeply about his customers even to the point of bringing a "nurse" tank one night after hours when we ran out of propane. Then we moved to a tiny community south of Albuquerque, and a couple of years later Michael started his own business only a few miles up the road from us. I immediately switched over to him. He had been so good to us in the past, I was delighted to continue doing business with him at his new location in Peralta. All was well until Michael became ill to the point of leaving his sons in charge; that was when the trouble started. Without his guidance to oversee the business, orders for delivery placed several days in advance were never filled. So I called and scheduled delivery again; if it was only a day before, propane was delivered the next day. If several days out, it wasn't. For a while I was patient for Michael's sake, but eventually I called out one of his sons regarding the issue of non-delivery. He told me that if the delivery was scheduled "too far in advance," the tickets got lost. Stunned at such a lack of organization and good business practice, I replied that this was *entirely* unacceptable. He was instantly furious, and informed me flatly that if I wasn't happy he would close my account and I could go somewhere else. I did. It was the first and only time I have been treated so rudely by someone in business, and it was made worse by the fact that it was one of the sons of the man I regarded so highly. So, if you're happy with them that's great; just be careful which of them you lodge a complaint with. You're liable to be shown the door. P.S. my son has tried to do business with them, too, but multiple times he's pulled into the fill station with small propane bottles and nobody comes out to fill them. I feel sorry for Michael; this business was his dream. It appears the sons in charge now don't really care how it's run.

A friend recommended them to me and it was with the first and only ones that I went for quotation and then ...Quote $543.5 ( We think 100 more) Reality: $771.24...220 dlls more..wt??...I talked to them and they told me that if I did not want them they would come for the tank and the gas, but even so I would have to pay 440 dlls for the work :-( , and He (Kevin?) I hope you better give a high quote and do not expect to stay broken when they install other pieces. Well now nothing to do...(only ask to more than one for quotes.)
