I purchased 3 brand new Mini split AC units from one of the sale people including Installtion for my private house in Brooklyn . After these 3 units were installed , after something like 1 month , one particular unit which is located in my master bedroom leaked water outside the piping of the house , which meant the technician Kai didn’t do a good professional job installing the AC units . So I called the company and they send another technician to fix it . 2 years went by no issues until one night at 2 am the same split AC unit in my master bedroom starting leaked water in side the house and damaged my wall , my bed and many things around it . I had so much water it was insane .
I called the company asking them what is this , only 2 years passed by and this shouldn’t happen if every thing was installed properly and correctly , their response was , well 2 years passed by , warranty passed by , call technician and you will have to pay for labor out of pocket which is between, 300-500$ .
This is not how you do business, you don’t lie and deceive people . Why do I have to pay anything at all out of pocket if the AC split unit wasn’t installed properly from the beginning . The company should have taken responsibility and fixed it for free . Dont spend your hard owned money at this place , go somewhere else where they will actually treat you Properly and they actually have real professionals installing the AC units with quality and guaranteed work that will actually last .
According to Mitsubishi customer service if the units were installed correctly and professionally than they are guaranteed to run 5 to 10+ years before any significant drainage service is needed or any issues arise.
Something is suspicious here and doesn’t add up.
