They were incredibly flexible, patient, and kind throughout my recent appliance purchase, and the level of personal care you get when shopping local really stood out. They even matched prices without having to ask, which showed how much they value their customers. Excellent service, honest pricing, and a genuinely pleasant experience from start to finish. It was so nice to not feel like a number! From the moment I walked in the door, I felt welcome and supported, even with 3 young kids in tow. I forget the name of the person who helped me, but he was great at answering all my questions and addressing all my concerns, then giving me space to make my decision. He didn't try to convince me to buy a fridge with all the bells and whistles, which I appreciate. I was satisfied from store experience to order to delivery. I'll be back for sure (though hopefully not for a fridge for a long time 😉)

I bought 2 washers, 2 dryers, a range, and a dishwasher from Thayer, because I like to support local businesses. A year and a few weeks after I bought one of the dryers, it stopped working. I called Thayer and the person on the phone said they would see what they could do and would get back to me. Three weeks went by, and I didn't hear from anyone. I called back, talked to someone else, who also said she would get back to me, but never did. I guess next time, I'll just go to the big box store. They get a couple of stars because their delivery is convenient and the guys are nice.
