When our gas cooking stove was broken, they wanted us to pay for their "service" before they did anything. In fact, the technician came only for 5-10 minutes, and charged $85 plus tax, which was $91.80, for doing nothing and telling us to buy a new on. - Good business. The most disturbing part was their such haste to collect the service call fee before they even came, while we've been customers for years and never failed our payments. Aggressive and hostile company and customer service.

I have used this company over the years, as did my entire family growing up. Unfortunately, after this last experience, I will go out of town before I use them again. I had called for a repair of my wqsher back before the new year. I was told it would be a few weeks before i could be seen. (Which I was fine with). But it got canceled by them because the tech was stuck on other jobs. (Understandable. It happens). So we rescheduled for a couple of weeks down the road. I had to cancel this appointment as I got called into work. Then life happened, and it was put on the back burner. I finally rescheduled the appointment. The tech came on time. I explained what was happening with the washer, then showed him. He shut off the washer, opened the door, touched the inside drum, and told me the bearing gear was shot and would cost over $800 to fix. Then he offered to get me a new one at the store. I asked what the service fee would be, he said he had to call it in since I was paying with a card. The service fee cost for him to be there from 9:54 to 10:10 and do nothing was $86.40. He told me to call and talk to the store about the service fee. I did that as soon as he left. I was told they would look into it and call me back. I am still waiting for that call back.

This review is long overdue but well deserved! The experience of purchasing my oven from S&S was top notch from start to finish. The sales person was so helpful and very knowledgeable, as well as professional and courteous. The price was fair, delivery was quick and the delivery people were exceptional in their professionalism and the pride they took in their work. I totally recommend this business and I would definitely purchase appliances from them in the future.

Bought a used Frigidaire black fridge for $400. I thought it was a good price, it looks and operated well. After a week, an internal part broke and the refrigerator wasnt recieving cold air from the freezer. The owner fixed it at his cost, no questions asked and the matter was resolved quickly. It has operated well now for 4 months. The repairman was knowledgable and came out another time when the gas oven that came with our place wasnt lighting. Everyone I dealt with was very pleasant. I would reccomend this business to anyone looking for used or new appliances. I also recommend the service department for whatever troubles your appliances may bring.
