I wanted a Speed Queen after doing a bunch of research on YouTube. They are high quality commercial washers/dryers for home use. You can’t buy them at Home Depot or Lowe’s so I was looking for a retailer. I talked to another shop first and they were ill informed, but then I talked to Erik at Village Appliances and I was confident they knew what they were doing. The installer did a great job moving the machines in and the old ones out. He did a test of the new machines, and I’m thrilled to have my new laundry set up!

I agree with the previous reviewer. Avoid this place. They installed a double Bosch oven in my place. It was wired incorrectly (both were attached to a single line with inadequate amperage, even amateurs don't do that) and shorted. Bosch service person could not believe his eyes (I have his report and will upload here if they try to give BS here). My house could have burnt down. Very dangerous establishment. Never ever buy anything or get it installed by them.

Had a great experience with Walter and John from the sales team when we decided we wanted to replace our kitchen appliances. We were in and out within an hour and at no point in time did we think someone was playing "salesman." Walter asked us all the right questions and provided all the right answers. The delivery team was prompt, communicative and even with our smaller front door they were white glove with their care and handling of removing our door and the appliances themselves when it came to delivery. Absolutely painless experience. We received our appliances and unfortunately our oven had an issue from the factory. Village and their team were EXTREMELY helpful in ensuring GE made right on their defect and we had everything taken care of under warranty. 12/10 Would recommend!

A Cautionary Tale: Avoid Village Appliances at All Costs I'm typically not one to write reviews, but my experience with Village Appliances in Port Chester was so egregious that I feel compelled to warn others. The delivery of our washer/dryer was a disaster, marked by ineptitude and a staggering lack of professionalism. The ordeal began with the delivery team, who managed to crack and scratch the appliances during installation. But the pièce de résistance was their response when I pointed out the damage: "Your staircase is too narrow." When I explained that the appliances were specifically chosen to fit by none other than Erik himself (the associate for VA), they bizarrely suggested I'd altered the staircase layout – a claim I refuted. Their insistence on sending someone to "verify" this was the cherry on top. After a second delivery debacle, where their "most experienced" drivers couldn't deliver the replacement appliances (exact dimensions, mind you and my previous washer/dryer with the exact dimensions), I questioned whether they'd even had new units in the truck. The entire experience was baffling, frustrating, and utterly unprofessional. Needless to say, potential customers should steer well clear of Village Appliances in the future. Buyer beware!

We had an excellent experience with Village Appliances in Port Chester, NY. Upon recommendation from our kitchen designer Lance at Leicht Westchester during our kitchen renovation, we spoke with Jimmy at Village Appliances. Jimmy's extensive knowledge about appliances made us feel confident in our choices, and we ended up purchasing a 36-inch Wolf cooktop, exhaust fan, Miele double ovens, Asko dishwasher, and OXO refrigerator—all of which have performed exceptionally well. The staff at Village Appliances were friendly, attentive, and accommodating throughout the process. They kept us informed about delivery timelines and worked with us to coordinate deliveries with our cabinet schedule. Overall, our experience with Village Appliances was outstanding, and I will definitely be a repeat customer for any future appliance needs. Highly recommended.
