Anthony Krachenfels from Universe Home Service was very professional and knowledgeable. He was honest about the situation and mentioned that he could have charged for opening up the ceiling to find out the problem, but since it wasn’t a plumbing issue and not his area of specialty, he chose not to charge for that work. I really appreciate and respect his honesty. He cleaned up really nicely afterwards. He also recommended a reliable company for the necessary repairs, and they did a great job. If anything else comes up in the future, I will definitely be calling Universe Home Service again.

I guess you don't get what you pay for. Paid 270 with tax to have a tune up on my oil boiler a few days ago. Everything seems to be fine but I never saw the tech bring a shop vac or anything to clean up the soot in the boiler. So after a few days I checked it out myself. I had expected it was not clean out at all. Not the boiler or the pipe. It was 2 screws to remove the panel. Nothing was cleaned. I don't like watching people as they do there work but I guess in these time you cant give benefit of the doubt.

I had an excellent experience with Universe. Vidal does incredible work and stands behind all the work that he does. He was kind, patient and caring and took the time to explain everything that was being done and why it was necessary. I am extremely happy with the work that was done and I will definitely be using universe for any future plumbing needs. I highly recommend both Universe and Vidal.

Anthony and the crew that installed our furnace in an emergency were great. They were able to come for the install within 24 hours. They were professional, informative and respectful of our home. I am avoiding the 5th star only because their pricing is on the high side. But it was an emergency and I can't complain - we have heat!
