My refrigerator decided to take a crap. Fortunately the freezer was still working. I had had Tuttle come over and troubleshoot it for me but apparently I needed a new refrigerator freezer. So I shopped around and decided to go with this company as they are employee-owned and their showroom is absolutely beautiful. They have any Appliance in every Appliance as you can possibly want. Not only did I pick up the refrigerator that I wanted but I also picked up a small chest freezer. Deena assisted me with the purchase answering all of the questions that I had. They have wonderful financing 1 year interest-free which made my purchase extremely reasonable. I had entertained going to the box stores but I'm not happy with the way they treat their customers, the way they deliver things and if I ever have a problem with the appliance I would rather go to a private company then a big box company. I'd rather shop local.

Very disappointed. I am a first time shopper at Olum’s and I was very excited when I found a local company to buy an appliance from. I wanted an experience where the delivery was quick, local company with service, and easy to deal with. They were easy to deal with and delivery was quick, but service after the fact is abysmal. I was talked into buying Maytag at the showroom because of the tariffs and made in America meant quicker replacement parts and service if needed. My Maytag dryer I used not even 5x over 16 days and it stopped working. I called my local sales rep that sold me the dryer and connected me with service. The service department said there is no one from Maytag in their roster and I have to call May tag directly. I understand the labor shortage, and politely followed directions to Maytag website to schedule a service. The earliest service was 10 days out. The service tech shows up for 5 minutes and diagnoses a problem with the fuse which he said was a known part that fails sometimes as it breaks during delivery. Now I have to wait another 5+ days for part and his time to come back. That puts me at 16 days having the machine and 16+ plus with it not working waiting on a part! I was hoping that Olums would have taken this headache from me. The machine was not even on my property 3 weeks and it failed. I was hoping Olums being a local company and there for its customers would take the machine back, deliver a new one, and they deal with Maytag to get this fixed. I know part of this poor review needs to hold Maytag accountable too but Olum’s was the place I bought it from. I was hoping for more from them. Honestly, I could have gotten better service out of Lowes or Home Depot, which i did not want to go to but I will have to consider it for my next appliance purchase. I’m very frustrated spending the money on a premium brand sold on “made in America” and it got me not much further than dealing with big box or buying a basic machine from international brands. Olum’s please do better, I had high expectations. I usually do not review, but other needs to know this poor experience!

I went to the newly opened Olum’s to shop for a washer and a dryer. Bryan Y greeted us. He was very knowledgeable about all the different brands that we were interested in purchasing. He was patient and helpful. Since the machines we were interested in were the same price as the big box stores and they had convenient financing we purchased at Olum’s. Delivery, set up, and removal were done quickly and with great care. Keleisha and Brandon even arrived earlier than expected. They were also very helpful and a great source of helpful aftercare information. I would buy from Olum’s again. Mary B

In April of 2023 my wife and I spent $7,500 at Olums on kitchen appliances including a GE Profile SS dishwasher. In the first week of 2/2025, the top of our dishwasher started breaking apart. Every other day small pieces of metal were falling all over the floor in front of the dishwasher and every time we opened or closed it, the trim of the top panel would pop off. We called Olums asking about the warranty and they said to contact Epic Protection who services extended warranties sold by Olums. On 2/10/25 we called Epic and explained what was happening and they said they might not even cover this problem but to send photos (which we did that day) and they will determine if it’s covered. On 2/14/25 they emailed our information and photos to their specialist department for review. On 2/17/25, we received a call from Epic requesting our model number and photos (which we did that day) because as they said, they didn’t have this information. On 2/18/25 we received another call from Epic saying that they would have to send someone out to take their own photos and that the earliest date they could do this was 2/26/25. I said I would take care of this problem myself as this process was being dragged out and they had already implied that they may not even cover this repair. The person I spoke to sounded as though that’s what they were aiming for all along. I am now paying $200 out of my own pocket for the part plus labor. I would strongly encourage anyone not to purchase Olum’s extended warranty Service plan. I will say that the sales people at Olums are great and they have a very good selection to choose from.

We've never used Olum's before but the service was great from the very beginning. Tom was our salesman and he was patient and informative. He said he would try to get out delivery time according to our schedule and he did!! We made a very quick decision and we are very very pleased. Thank you to Aaron and Alex for their wonderful work installing our new fridge. Couldn't have been nicer or more competent people.
