Subsequently, I received a phone call from Sue who informed me that she was mistaken; that the manufacture’s warranty was for parts and labor. I reread the warranty and it provides a warranty for parts only.

I bought an appliance from Mr. Jay and was clearly told by the salesperson "Sue" that it came with a one year warranty for parts and labor. I was offered an extended warranty, which I declined, for five years which would cover the original warranty plus four years. After the purchase was completed, I discovered that the manufacturer's warranty covered only parts. I spoke with Sue who denied that that the warranty was for parts and labor. She stated that there was no warranty from Mr Jay. Sue was rude over the phone, and made it near impossible for me to add to the conversation.

I would advise anyone and everyone not to purchase their extended warranty because it's next to impossible to get them to honor it. They farm out the service to new/green leaf who then subs it out to sears. We purchased $20k in appliances for a new house and to get them to even come initially is tough because the dates and times are usually 8am-5pm and then around 4:30pm you get an automatic text saying the appointment has been rescheduled. Now currently have had an issue with one of the appliances now for over a month and the appointment has been rescheduled three times with two no shows in between. Mr Jays needs to do better with actually honoring their warranty or just give us a new appliance as what we've been asking for, or rather have much better communication with these service contracts. Go to PC Richards there is much better value over there and much better customer service

I had such a wonderful experience with Susan from the Williston Park location. She helped me pick out our appliances, researched and took time to answer every question I had. Susan goes above and beyond for her customers. She doubled and triple checks everything. We even got our electric cooktop installed on our kitchen island from JSA Installers and they were excellent. It was a very complicated process but they were able to complete the mission! I am so grateful to Susan for her professionalism, knowledge and kindness! I recommend Royal Green a.k.a Mr. Jay’s as I still call it for all your appliance needs!!

We purchased our original appliances at Mr Jay 23 years ago and when it was time to replace our appliances their exceptional customer service and high quality appliances brought us back. Special thanks to Barbara Weiss and her daughter Susan our sales reps who managed the process from start to finish to ensure everything went smoothly. Also Jon and his team did a remarkable installation job, which was not easy given new appliances had to be retro fitted into existing older cabinetry.
