Ameri Gas

My parents Jack and Sheila Cox. Have been customers for 30 years plus. And my mom called and ordered gas at 15%. And they promised it would be 2/19:26- 2-24-26. They never called and said they wasn’t coming. I know my mom should have called before it’s at 15%. But she looks after my dad and my 97 year old grandma with dementia. Every time she called the office, girls would do nothing but laugh in the background. Promise it will be the next day. Promise it will be the day after. So they ran out of gas. And nine days later, they still have not received gas. So we told them to come pull out the tank. And we’re going with Halls propane. I thought the towel heads, run a business smoothly and knows what they’re doing. But if they can’t treat a customer of 30 years better than that. They need to get out of this business and go back to where they’re from. And they were charging my mother $4.39. When she called Halls propane. They are $299 a gallon. And they’re coming to take their tank out and set it in the driveway and put Their tank in the spot of there’s. So please do not go with this company.

Terrible experience with AmeriGas. They bought out our original propane supplier and service plummeted into the ground. They never arrived for our scheduled delivery then essentially lied and led us on for close to 3 weeks, during which we had no heat in our house in the colder days of February. Customer Service is outsourced to someone who just reads from a script and provides no real support or path to resolution. AmeriGas has shown they cannot be relied upon when you need them most for something as essential as heat for your family. If you are still undecided look them up on the BBB. This is a long term pattern of behavior from a company that has made it obvious that honesty, transparency, and customers are not a priority in their business model. Seek any alternative to AmeriGas if possible!

delivery window was scheduled between 1/28/26-2/3/26. the delivery is now 21 days late. have talked with amerigas multiple times today 2/23/2026 about my delivery since my tanks are empty and the temperature is in the 20's. was told 2 different times that my delivery was coming today and it is now 630pm and no delivery has shown up. customer service will just lie to you to get you off the phone. none of the office locations offer walk in service. and if you try to call one it just transfers you to the same call center where it's hard to understand the reps. English. if you want to keep your family warm in the winter time I would suggest using someone else. I rely on the gas for heat since my house does not have a central air unit. now I have to b use a Walmart heater to try and stay warm in the bedroom and pray my pipes dont freeze.

We had a very disappointing experience with AmeriGas. We scheduled and paid in advance for a propane delivery before a major winter storm was forecasted. Despite this, our tank was not filled for an entire week. I spent over an hour on hold multiple times just trying to speak to someone, only to be told conflicting information. I even attempted to visit the local office in person, only to find out it is not open to the public. We have a 3-month-old baby at home, and reliable heat is not optional during freezing temperatures. It was incredibly stressful knowing we had done everything right — scheduled ahead, paid, and called — and still received no service. It wasn’t until I became extremely upset on the phone that someone finally took the situation seriously and sent a delivery. No family should have to fight this hard for a basic, already-paid-for service, especially during winter weather. I cannot recommend AmeriGas based on this experience. I would give them 0 stars.
