Bought a dishwasher a year ago and had them install it. However, the installation was faulty. It appeared fine at first but about 9 months later the screws connecting the brackets to the counter top were getting loose and one of the screws fell out. This obviously is not typical and should not happen with a proper installation. I explained to one of their managers that there was too big of a gap between the bracket and the counter top. The bracket had a lot of tension on it and the installer forced the screws into the cabinet anyway. Over time the tension of the bracket with the vibrations of the running dishwasher stripped out the screws. The machine should have been set higher for the brackets to be touching the counter. This would relieve the tension of pulling the screws out. Improper installation voids warranty and causes damage when not properly anchored. Probably why the water supply hose got a tear and water went all over the floor. I explained to the manager that I thought since this was due to faulty installation then it would be a nice show of integrity for their business to remedy it. Unfortunately he didn't believe my assertion that it was installed poorly and claimed his service men were too competent to make a bad installation. He claimed this was the first time anyone complained about a faulty installation. He offered to fix it but said they would have to add a 75 dollar service charge. I declined because I shouldn't have to pay that amount of money for them to fix their own mistake. If someone messes up providing a service for you why should one have to pay them more to fix what they should have done right in the first place? Makes no sense. He acted like since it was installed a year ago that was too much time past for them to feel obligated to fix it. It's their business but if it were my business I would want to prove my integrity and keep happy customers. This business obviously doesn't care about that. So we will never do business with this place again and I have no problem telling others about this unfortunate lack of customer appreciation.

We have dealt with Hansbarger Home Solutions on two appliance purchases. John is very knowledgeable, as I am sure the rest of the staff is as well, but he was our first contact, so we stick with him. I recently recommended Hansbarger Home Solutions to a neighbor who also dealt with John on her purchase of 3 appliance pieces. Once again, top-notch service and knowledge of the product. The recent delivery and installation of our washer and dryer was handled in a professional manner by two young men who really did a great job. They are competitive with the big box stores, and they also have their own service department. I would highly recommend Hansbarger Home Solutions.

Follow up. After finally getting back to Hansbargers (no thanks to Version and my voice mail not working), we were able to find a washer that fit all of my needs and it was delivered and installed by 2 young men who were probably the best delivery people I have ever had. The entire experience was fantastic and if you are in need of appliances just see Matt or Chris at the store. I would give them a 6 STAR rating if possible.
