Update: here is what happens when you file a complaint about being ripped off by Dye's...."Thank you for contacting the Ohio Attorney General’s Office. Although we have attempted to follow up with Dyes Appliance Sales Service & Parts, we have received no further response from them, and therefore, we are not able to move forward with your complaint. At this time, no further attempts will be made to contact Dyes Appliance Sales Service & Parts." Emailed in June after being ripped off in January🤣 The Attorney General and the BBB both know he is scamming and yet they both CHOOSE to ignore it. BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!! I will never go back! We were sold a dryer with missing parts. After 2 repair visits to my home. On the second repair call the owner's son freely admitted " I just had a bad day, sorry about that" when we discovered upon the first repair call that the dryer had NO BELT and the power connector wasn't connected. After 3 days of them claiming they will make it right we still had no working dryer. I requested a refund and was told no because I paid in cash. Their credit card machine was NOT working at the time of purchase. I have attempted several times to put this review up and every time the owner responds trashing me and blaming me for the dryer not working. Claiming it isn't wired properly and there is some imaginary issue with the vent too. The vent is proper and cleaned because we do that every winter and spring. Your own employee Mike came to our house and tested it with YOUR meter and verified it was fine. The wiring is NOT the issue because strangely enough ANY other dryer hooked up the same way works just fine. There are many people that hard wire their appliance(s) the exact same way. To hear you tell it it sounds like we have a rats nest of wiring, but you are not gonna mention the caps and other appropriate necessities that we have to do the hardwiring properly. You are attempting to paint a picture to the public that doesn't exist. It is ONLY the broken dryer you sold me that isn't working. We have our nice clean new dryer hard wired in and it works like a dream! You have stolen from and lied to a child of God and now you are waging war on me just like you do anyone else that says you do bad business. I serve a Mighty God and he will see to it that you pay greatly for what you have done and continue to do to me. I hope the money was worth it. God sees all you can't hide what you have done. People will know that you are bad news. Psalms 10

Dennis and his team were awesome. Responsive, professional and great to work with. I had an emergency on a weekend and Dennis found the part I needed quickly and got back to me within minutes! Thank you!

My washer recently went out so I purchased another one off marketplace. The washer I purchased had the same issue as my washer that had just broke. Left with 2 broken washers and little cash I called Dennis. We were able to workout a trade/cash deal on a really nice new washer. Not only did they deliver and hook the washer up the same day they also picked up the 2 broken washers. It was a very easy and stress less transaction. Grateful for the peace of mind with the 90 day warranty and 1 year no service call warranty. Thank you!

Used to order multiple appliances from this place for my rentals but suddenly they went downhill. Not sure what the issue was but the last several deliveries they brought appliances that didn't work. Also, the others woulds stop working or have issues only a few months later but always conveniently out of their short warranty period. They would take a long time to send their repair person out, and then when I wanted my money back for a set they delivered in poor condition, they accused my tenants of physically damaging those appliances so they didn't have to refund me. (see attached photos of what the appliances looked like day of delivery). It seems to me that they did that on purpose to avoid paying me back for their "lemon" appliances. Tara called me personally saying that they refuse to do business with me anymore then hung on me very rudely. I will have to find another store to deal with in the future, but if this review helps just one person avoid this store then that makes me feel better. Do better Dye's. Update 1/29: The refrigerator did have food in it — because it was delivered as “ready for use,” installed by your team, and immediately failed, which is precisely why photos were taken the day of delivery. Food inside an appliance does not equal “destroyed,” but it does confirm occupancy — something you were fully aware of when you sold and delivered it. As for the claim that appliances were “destroyed beyond repair,” that directly contradicts what your staff said at the time, when refunds were requested and suddenly unsubstantiated damage allegations appeared — conveniently after warranty timelines became a point of dispute. If you truly maintain timestamped pre- and post-delivery documentation, I invite you to produce it publicly to support your claims. The attempt to deflect by attacking my tenants, my business, my travel schedule, and now making baseless insinuations about illegal living arrangements is unprofessional and telling. None of that changes the core issue: multiple appliances delivered in non-working or near-failure condition, delayed service responses, and refusal to stand behind products once problems arose. Finally, threatening inspections and making defamatory remarks in a public forum is not a substitute for accountability. Cutting ties was your decision — one that came after refund requests and legitimate complaints — and frankly, it was mutual. I stand by my review. Prospective customers can decide for themselves whether this response reflects a business they want to trust with their money.
