Edit: Allstate is fixing my problem.
TLDR: Find someone else to do your repairs. This company will waste your time. Save yourself the stress.
Alright so, this is going to be a lengthy review and I'm hoping it catches the attention of higher up because the service or lack thereof is awful.
I bought a washer through home depot and bought their warranty through Allstate (never going to do this again btw as they aren't helping either) and I have been rescheduled by this company at least 3 TIMES!!!
First time I called I was on the schedule for a Tuesday, I ended up rebooking as June 19th was a holiday and I was off work so I could accommodate the repair guy's schedule. Got a call Thursday that week that said they weren't able to come out. Okay, that's fine. We reschedule for the next week.
Following Tuesday rolls around, they cancel because the tech had a family emergency. Okay, things happen. That's fine. We rebook for Thursday.
Thursday comes and the tech comes out, says the part is broken and we need a new one. Can't repair the washer with a broken part, plus it also needs a motherboard replacement. Reschedule for Tuesday and was told I was PRIORITY (that doesn't mean anything btw).
Parts shipped, arrive that Monday and I wait for my appointment. I call ahead to confirm and get told "Oh no, you're on Wednesday." This was supposed to be scheduled by Elmo (99.9 percent sure that is his name). Fine, I'll take the Wednesday appointment. Get a call back THE SAME DAY to tell me that "Oh there's a mixed up in the schedule and we moved you to Thursday." When I asked why they said, "Well, the tech got moved to a different location for the day." I'VE BEEN ON YOUR SCHEDULE FOR WEEKS AS A PRIORITY!
So here we are on Thursday the 2nd, and I get a call that the tech will be out earlier than expected. Great! I'm going to have my washer working. Not even an hour later I get a call from Elmo that they are canceling because somebody didn't put in the notes that the repair requires 2 people. I feel like as a business, someone should be looking over the work schedule the day before and have proper staffing. But I guess that's not how it works.
Overall, I'm completely frustrated with this company and Allstate. They both are not communicating to one another and have caused significant stress in my household. If someone is given PRIORITY, you should give them PRIORITY. Also, if I saw the same house on the schedule multiple times, wouldn't someone assume there's a problem and it needs to be taken care of so that everyone can continue with their lives?
Your customer service representatives don't care about the significance of my problem, and at this point... I'm pleading with you. Can someone please fix my washer? The parts are here and waiting for install.
