The reason that small businesses aren’t doing well is because of businesses like this. I custom ordered a couch and a few weeks later received an email that my couch was ready and would be delivered on a specific time and date. On the day of delivery at the time specified I hadn’t heard from them yet and contacted to find out if there was a problem. At that time we were told that they were out on a different delivery and would be returning soon to get my couch and then deliver it. 3 hours later after getting rid of my old sofa, taking the day off of work and moving all of the things and other furniture for a smooth delivery I was told that the couch wasn’t even there!!!!!!!! and wouldn’t be delivered. I called the owner/manager to find out what they could do to help me out after wasting so much of my time and money and he said nothing, it wasn’t his fault. I’m sorry but it’s a small place, how could you not know that the couch wasn’t there? It’s your job as a manager to know what you have and where it’s going!! I cancelled the couch and would not recommend buying anything from this store. No one cares anymore, this family business is a joke.

Bought a southern motion loveseat and couch from the store a year ago. Couches arrived and did not look like the product we purchased in store. Very poor craftsmanship, lumpy, and puckered/crooked stitching. Within a month, the padding in the kick outs was pushed to the bottom. Grays offered to fix it by sending it to an upholsterer. From conversations, it sounded like this is a known issue with the product. Upholsterer fixed the kick outs; however, did not remedy any other part of the couch. Delivery men never gave advance notice of day/time when they were going to pick up/drop off couches and would call when they were in town asking if we were home. Overall very disappointed with our experience and would not recommend buying from southern motion or grays furniture.

We ordered a kitchen set, living set and mattress and Mike handled the sale so professionally, that I almost wanted to buy more. The prices were better than other furniture stores and a better selection too. Everything was supposed to be delivered to our new home, but we didn't end up buying the house and Gray's had no problem delivering it to our old house. The delivery guys were just as professional!! Some of the items were heavy and they didn't damage a thing! We'll definitely buy from Gray's again!

I dealt with Mike Gray to purchase a mattress. He was one of the nicest men I have ever met and extremely helpful throughout every aspect of my purchase. They have 5 floors of exquisite furniture to choose from and fairly priced for the quality merchandise they carry. They often run sales on many items too. I HIGHLY recommend visiting THIS family owned store before purchasing elsewhere. They are fair, helpful, offer financing (if needed), and they value each and every customer they serve. This is a store where they value their reputation and you will experience and benefit from their ethics.
