Jon hired me to detail his vehicles and I wanted to take time to write that he went out of his way to help find an individual that has scammed me along with an elder widow lady with dementia plus others. I can genuinely say without a doubt Jon at Hodgkiss Construction is a very solid and trustworthy person, he helped me out and didn't have to do that. I appreciate it much!

Jon Hodgkiss and his team were excellent in the construction of our new Trex deck. The staff were professional, courteous and responsive in the design and construction of our project. Jon was very helpful in assisting us in developing a design which was both practical and aesthetic. I hired John 10 years ago and need his number to do a job in our new home. I was shocked to see he only has 3-1/2 stars. John's quality is tops! He built a great deck for us and when we had an issue with the lights he came out promptly to fix it. At the time was the highest bid of three but only by a small amount, but his design and his work is much better than the other decks done in our old neighborhood.

I hired Jon and his team to build a 19x19 patio roof. They did an amazing job. I did extensive research on many other builders in the Pittsburgh area and we are so glad that we chose Jon and his team. Jon was confident that he could deliver me a high quality roof. Hodgkiss Construction is BY FAR the best deck / patio / roof builder in the Pittsburgh area. They were extremely prompt during the bid process, answered all of our questions thoroughly, and were very eager and willing to work with us on the design in order to meet our budget needs. They showed up on time during the construction process and always left the job site clean when they left. The construction speaks for itself. The attention to detail is absolutely amazing.
