They were able to come out the next morning after I called. The tech was professional and explained my options. We are replacing rather than repairing, so I can’t comment on their actual work. I was supposed to get a confirmation text the night before and a call when they were on the way and didn’t get either, but I’m not sure that’s worth taking a star off for, just be aware.

We have used Mr. Appliance for several years and had always been happy with their service. Unfortunately, it appears the company has changed ownership, and that change was never communicated to us prior to our recent appointment. We scheduled a service call for our refrigerator, and based on our history with this company, they already knew the type of appliances we have. When the technician arrived, we were then told they no longer work on sealed system refrigerators. This was never mentioned when we booked the appointment. Despite not being able to perform any repair or actual service, we were still charged $200. Charging that amount when no work was done feels extremely deceptive and like taking money for services you knew ahead of time you could not provide. Had we been informed of their limitations before the appointment, we would have never scheduled the visit. Allowing customers to book appointments under these circumstances feels misleading and dishonest. We also asked about the technician who had serviced our home in the past and were told he no longer works there, which helps explain the sudden decline in transparency and service. Very disappointed in what used to be a trustworthy company.

Fantastic professionals! James came out to work on our washer and he did a great job. Very smart guy that showed up when promised. Great communication from company and came a day sooner than promised. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough!

Our LG refrigerator stopped cooling. The appliance store we purchased the refrigerator from recommended Mr Appliance. The first trip out they had to reschedule because we had just plugged the unit back in prior to the service call. It needed to be 12 hours before. The second trip they were able to work on the unit and determine the compressor had failed and needed to be replaced. When the tech was at our home they had the unit pulled out so far they would have been required to disconnect the water line from the unit. I honestly did not pay that close attention to where they disconnected it. But 5 days after that service a water stain appeared about 12” from the floor on the wall surrounding the refrigerator. We pulled out the unit and the floor and walls were saturated. We called a handyman to come take a look as we thought maybe a line was broken in the wall due to all the water. After the handyman spent over 3 hours cutting out drywall and throughly searching the area he began to look at the water line to the unit and it almost fell off the nipple and was barely screwed on to the fitting. He then was able to determine this is where all the water was leaking from. When we confronted Mr Appliance with the issue, they denied that the tech had even touched the water line and told me I would need to discuss it further with the tech when he arrived to replace the compressor. When the tech arrived on the third visit, the tech denied that he had even touched the water line. I asked him how he got the unit out as far as he did without removing the line and he explained they must have rotated the unit sideways, which it wasn’t. They rolled it straight out. My next conversation was with the owner who offered an explanation that the unit must have vibrated the fitting off and stated they are not going to be held responsible for the damages. Accidents happen but It amazes me how flippant, careless and complete disregard for customer’s homes and experience. We will never use this company again and if you decide to use them, I’d strongly recommend being there and taking photos of the progress as they work.
