They would NOT let me get my washer out of layaway. The one that sits at the desk when you walk in, stated I couldn't get it because i didn't have my receipt I lost/misplaced. OK. I then asked him to let me have the $ I put down on it. He states very quickly that they don't give refunds!! So they just took my $!!!! I felt that I was the wrong color!

Depends on the day if you get good service. Bought a stove and went to pick it up and it was not ready. I needed the stove to be converted over to a propane gas from natural gas. Had to come back several hours later. Not sure if they communicate well. Also I stood around waiting for someone to acknowledge I was even there . One guy was at his desk with a lady checking out the computer eating completely ignored me . I felt invisible. If you don’t want to sell appliances shut the store down.

I wish I’d gone to Discount Vacuum and Appliance in Waco first! I originally bought a fridge from Home Depot, but their delivery guys wouldn’t take the doors off to fit it through the doorway — so I refused delivery and got a refund. After that, I went to Discount Vacuum and Appliance and talked with Darren. He was great to visit with and explained that he doesn’t sell or service some of the big national brands because they cause too many problems. Instead, he focuses on brands they know and trust — and they service what they sell, which really gave me confidence. I decided on a Maytag, and I’m so glad I did. Just a couple of hours later, my new fridge was delivered, the doors were removed and reattached perfectly, and my old 30-year-old Maytag was hauled away. The delivery team was friendly, efficient, and had a real “can-do” attitude. Outstanding service from start to finish — I’ll definitely be buying from them again!
