Outstanding customer service! Eli was incredibly responsive, helpful, and made the entire repair process effortless. My 11-year-old ProSI.42 range hood had three failed baffle filter latches. Proline repaired all of my filters at no charge (I only paid shipping) and even replaced one filter with a brand-new one. Everything works perfectly again. We needed a powerful grill hood for our indoor/outdoor area at our new home in Ecuador. Proline's dedicated outdoor BBQ hoods were the answer to having the power we needed and also the marine grade stainless steel to last in the ocean air. I purchased a 60” range hood from about $1700. When received the manual said the minimum duct size was 6” round or 10” square. After installing with 6” round there was almost no air suction. I contacted customer support and was advised the unit can only be paired with 10” duct. I sent them pictures of their install manual that repeatedly references 6” duct size and NO WHERE does it say 10” is required nor that it cannot be reduced. Didn’t matter to Proline. They offered no solutions or options to rectify. I’m stuck with a good I can’t use after $1700 plus all the install costs. Do not rely on the instructions they provide and do not expect good customer service. I would give one star but for the fact the unit looks very nice and appears well made. But in my case still of no use and Proline is no help *Note, Proline posted their response and acknowledge the confusion in their manual. "We take responsibility for the lack of clarity in the manual...." Yet, they still refused to offer to accept a return or any other recourse. They admitted their mistake but still left me with new range hood I can't use. All this does is further cement my point that they will not help the customer and you can't rely on the materials and information they provide the customer
