I did not have a great experience today for dinner 6/15/26. To start off, the waitress took a minute to get started with our meals which was not the biggest deal. We are usually not picky people at all for reference. She came back with drinks and took our orders, cowboy fries appetizer, summer berry chicken salad, farmers choice (pancakes, eggs, meat, hash browns). We were waiting an extremely long time for the food to be prepared and the appetizer never came. First the 3 pancakes came, they were served upside down to hide that they were burnt black. Our order also came with no silverware. The salad came with no chicken. We had to wait in between all of these issues because the waitress would disappear then come back and apologize but always with a “but…” excuse. The SECOND set of pancakes were also served with no syrup. The restaurant was not busy AT ALL, maybe 4 tables full. The manager comes and tries to figure out what’s going on but again, his apology came with excuses, the main one being how there wasn’t enough help when we could see him playing around with the only 2 younger waitresses in the open prep area. The only good part about the service was that the meal was compt. The salad still hasn’t came at this point, the waitress then brought dressing and asked if we even still wanted the salad, we said yes and continued to wait because this was our dinner before running errands, finally we left. Do better. Have always liked Bob Evans but will never come to this location again.

I ordered take out close to the end of the night , Monday April 20th. I ordered two meals, one of them being a double cheeseburger meal that comes with beer cheese on it. The first problem I encountered is when I asked to purchase extra beer cheese on the side I was told they didn’t have any and that I didn’t know what I was talking about. Even though the burger I purchased came with it. The second meal I purchased was a three course meal with a salad and entrée and dessert. For starters, the sale wasn’t even in my bag so I had to kindly ask the waitress to get me one. But here’s the thing I have a huge issue with, while eating my Peanut butter pie that came with my order, I saw something almost white like against the black crust, which is I guess cookie crust so it’s fairly dark. After pulling it out and thinking it was hair, I came to the realization it was actually silver and they were tiny metal shavings. I’m highly disturbed by this because I ate majority of the pie before I even realized, and while the shavings are small, it still concerns me that I found three just in the small area of pie I have left. Food here was really good! it came out quick and the portions were great. (They could get some better salad dressings though the ranch was gross -coming from my two kids) There was one server their that wasn’t ours and I wished it was cause she was so accommodating and so nice to her tables, unfortunately our server was not that great and didn’t ask if we wanted refills and when we had to ask twice we finally got 3 of the 4 of them and then she never cleared any of the dishes or dirty cups in front of us, but other then that since the food was good we will be back .

Very limited restaurants in the area. I am familiar with Bob Evans, though their pricing is great. However, the quality of food, in my opinion, has deteriorated over the years. I came here for a quick dinner, very familiar with their menu, so I thought. However, the menu has been condensed with all-day breakfast. My server was Ava. To my surprise, her service was superb and gave me many options. I didn't want butter on the biscuit, which was arranged. When she came back with the biscuit and offered the banana bread if I was not satisfied. Very knowledgeable with the menu, professional, and service with a smile. Phenomenon for the experience she has. Ava, as mentioned, hope you don't change if you continue in this service industry.
