I scheduled this service in advance and was initially given a service window. Two days before the appointment, I received a missed call with no voicemail. When I returned the call, I believe I reached an automated system and was unable to determine the reason for the call. The day before my appointment, I called again because I still had not received any clarification and was informed that my service window needed to be pushed back by two hours. While inconvenient, I agreed to the change.
On the day of service, the revised window came and went with no call, text, or update. When I contacted the company, I was told the technician might arrive in about an hour, but there was no certainty.
Unfortunately, the experience became even more frustrating once the technician arrived. There appeared to be very little communication between the office and the technician regarding the work order, which involved cleaning the dryer vent and dishwasher filter. The technician asked me for supplies that I would have expected a service professional to bring, including a ladder and trash bags. After completing the dryer work, he left a bag of lint and debris in my laundry room rather than disposing of it.
The lack of professionalism continued in my kitchen. After washing his hands, he reached for my paper towels and left water across my countertops and several items nearby, including an electronic device. He made no effort to clean up the water or apologize. While cleaning the dishwasher filter, he again used my paper towels to remove debris and then asked for the trash bag a second time.
Delays happen, and I understand that schedules can change. However, communication, professionalism, preparedness, and respect for a customer's home should be standard. This experience fell well short of those expectations.
