Hands of Mercy Appliance Thrift Store

BISHOP John Smith delivered 2 faulty washer and dryer sets to me. The first set did not work at all!! The second set did not work properly. Bishop left word for me to leave the door on the dryer open or unplug it when not in use. Once the door closed it started spinning…Not drying the clothes just spinning. The washer bounced and jumped all over my laundry room and after the clothes finished washing, the fabric softened was all over the clothes. I called Bishop numerous times, when I finally spoke to him, he said he would come get the faulty set and refund me $320. I paid a total of $403!! That included a delivery fee and a fee for using my debit card. Bishop called me back and said he was at my house with a 3rd set!! I refused and reminded him of our previous conversation. Bishop stated “I’m trying to work with you” and then drove off. I later went to his place of business referring to our previous conversation about my refund and his pick up of the set. Long story short…once I had the set delivered back to Hands of Mercy. Bishop refunded me $320. Bishop is a terrible business man!! The washer and dryer sets he delivered to me was trash!! He ignored numerous calls and voicemails. He also lied to me on several occasions. I would not recommend this business to anyone!!

Please do not use this vendor. We purchase a used washer two weeks ago. When delivered it did not work. Vendor has been out several times to fix and offered to replace with another one. We eventually purchased a new one and requested the the vendor to pick up washer and return money. Have not picked up the washer or returned money. Vendor makes promises he will be by to pick up merchandise but never shows up. He has not picked up the merchandise and will not respond to messages. All you get is promises. Seek info from lawyer to file in court. Will most likely cost more however intend to make a point.
