Open Box Appliance, Furniture, & Mattress

DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT! First of all, I searched Google to attempt to find an open box set of appliances before checking out the major retailers. Upon arrival I not impressed with the molded and torn banner representing this establishment. When entering the floors were dirty and felt sticky for whatever reason. When inspecting the appliances a majority of them seemed way over priced in comparison to a brand new set from Lowe's. As soon as I entered the establishment the owner was very bland and not welcoming at all. There was not much help or communication at first. It seemed there always no initial effort to inistate a sale. When conversating about the appliances the owner wanted us to pay before he even tested then even though there is a no refund policy -anyone wondering, this is a very skimmy sales tactic with no consideration of the customer. The building smelled horrible and a majority of the other items in the store felt more Goodwill more than anything. To save others time I would not enter this establishment for an appliance unless you want to be met with a gentleman from my name is earl and receive horrible advise and a waste of time.

We bought a matching set, open box advertises that their matching sets will not be sold separately. We scheduled a delivery date for Friday, they asked to reschedule for first thing Saturday morning and did not show up until 4 pm on Saturday, with no communication along the way. When they showed up they brought a mismatched set. We called to see what could be done and the owner told us we could come pick out another set but because this "wasn't their mistake" we would have to pay $125 to have the washer and dryer redeliverd. We know the policy says no refunds, however we asked and of course they refused. We went back to select another washer and dryer and of course there was the original set we selected/purchased on the sales floor.

Open Box Appliance is an awesome, family-owned store run by a friendly husband-and-wife team who are always willing to meet your needs. They offer great prices on appliances and furniture. I bought a fridge from them at half off the current retail price, and they still went out of their way to ensure I was happy with my purchase. Along with a year warranty. Additionally, their growing flea market is full of rare finds and great deals. Highly recommended!
