Thumpers Used Appliances

Bought a used washer/dryer set in September 2025. The washer started making terrible noise right after the warranty of ONLY NINETY days expired. We’ve put up with the noise for some time. It’s gotten worse. Upon calling to see if they offer a discounted price for servicing their own refurbished items, I was told “that is way past warranty” and “do you want us to come out or you bring it to us?” I pretty much called them out for selling crappy appliances and hung up. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!

I didn’t feel they cared about getting my appliance delivered to me. We agreed not to deliver if was raining. Thursday there was no rain in the forecast. I was told I would be called to set a time up if not raining. I called first thing Thursday morning. The man taking care of me wouldn’t be in the store until 1. I was told he would call me when he got in. I waited until 2 no call. So I called I spoke to the man don’t know his name. I felt he was not very friendly at all. He asked if 2:30 to 3:30 would be a good time to deliver i said I had appointment at 3:30 I asked him if they could come at 4:30 he said no in a sturn voice that no one would be there. He asked if 2:30 to 3:00 would be ok and I said yes. I just felt he didn’t care if I got my appliance at all. I feel he should have called me and set a time since not raining first thing Thursday morning. If it was my business that would have been the first thing I did to satisfy my customer.

In the market for reasonably priced refrigerator, washer, and dryer and overwhelmed by the cost of buying new, I decided to shop for used when I happened across Thumpers. Even though they were in the middle of moving the business from the original location to the new shop, Jeff patiently educated me on the pros and cons of the various models in stock each time I went in. They were well stocked with appliances at different price points and we purchased all three pieces and had them delivered quickly and courteously. The whole experience was exceptional and I will not hesitate to shop there again for future needs - thanks Jeff!
